Every class in PlanetSide 2 has some sort of identity (although Engineer is a bit muddy outside of being the "vehicle repair guy"). Classes like Combat Medic and Engineer are in many FPS games in different forms so their concept is nothing too mind-blowing. Infiltrator is cool in concept but it seems like the overall player base hates their existence due to invisibility being overpowered when paired with a sniper rifle. Heavy Assault = press button, get shield. What about Light Assault? It can flank, engage, escape, glide and fly. It can traverse most terrain with ease and allows for incredible amounts of maneuverability with various options for jetpacks (jump jets), each with their own quirks and specialty. Nothing else provides such a unique way to play the game which is why I think it's such an enjoyable class. You can access entire areas by holding Spacebar that most other classes will never see and use those perches to take out enemies from above. What's not to love?
