5:07 Radiance of the Dawn you massively understated this. It is easily the strongest blast ability in the whole game at that level. It will end many encounters at level 2 and it can be used once per short rest so it saves you spell slots when you don’t have many. Massive aoe and no friendly fire.
I mean it's an attack so I think there isn't much to understand. There are a few issues with this including the Con save and the fact that you could "save spell slots" by regaining them with Harness Divine Power. This is not a bad option at all, but it is a bit overrated
I learned a lot from your video because this is my first time playing a cleric! Although I've chosen an Aasimar instead of a Winged Teifling but I'm sure you know she can fly too. Also I love your face
"When you find a wizard spell of 1st level or higher, you can add it to your spellbook if it is of a spell level you can prepare..." It says in the very first sentence under "Copying a Spell into the Spellbook" that if you cannot prepare that level of wizard spell, then you can't copy it into your book. Plain as day, rules as written. Not up for debate.
Well a couple of reasons. For one, this isn't that crazy of a modification to the regular one. Second, I am not the only person who uses this. If I'm not mistaken, there are many channels much larger than me who also use this or something similar. It is also what I use at my tables. Finally, this allows players to feel much more effective than they would have otherwise. It also lets the DM bring tougher encounters and a wider variety of monsters.
Should be only Wizard levels you have reached in my opinion...unless it is some crazy fun one shot in which nobody cares if some OP things happen to occur...
Very cool that you added a Wizard dip! That is a perspective that I haven't seen. Can you make a cleric spell preparation video? Specifically, a cleric that has 3rd to 5th level spell capability. Maybe ranking the spells and ultimately your favorite ones to prepare. Maybe change up your spell preps at each level depending on 3 different subclasses: Forge, Light, Arcana, for instance. Or just Light cleric. I currently play one that is 8th level and I am getting close to 9th.
@@DapperSnapperGaming HoW daRe YOu!? For clarification: It was a play on the Light cleric and the priests of the lord of light from game of thrones greeting each other with said phrase.
