Tried the intro. Good gameplay and was engaging but I would like if you could view the in-game models and not just the illustration. I’m already playing Outerplane and Fairy Tail so I’ll stick with it.

Post launch opinion is its quickly wearing thin. Chapter 10 gets really experience killing and you need to get to 11th chapter to unlock missions to get the material to raise almost every character class to lvl 40 minus warriors. Lots of technical issues guild rewards are pitiful and cant even fight the boss, and they have a tia skin that you only get like a week to unlock with really big milstones. Ill probably drop it tbh with better looking games on the horizon.

Been playing the whole morning haha, it’s definitely power gated though. I think it’ll be a nice casual game for the next couple months. Thanks for the review sir!

If this was early 2010s, I'd be excited about this game. Few tower defense games manage to captivate me nowadays, as I like more action, turn, or tactical turn based games. I feel like the complexity of the game should not be greater than how fun the gameplay is, and this game seems excessively complex and grindy in that aspect. If the story is not even interesting, I don't see a point to be invested in it. It does "look cool", but when you need to implement things like "sweeps", "x3 speed", "auto play", you gotta understand that you're basically saying "we, as developers, don't think that this is fun as it is". If you can't convince a player to play the game at base level, it's lazy to think that bandaids like these can make your game sell. Look at Genshin, the only time saving mechanic in the game is the Condensed Resin, and the game makes billions. Look at Star Rail, it has "x2 speed" and "auto play", but it also has challenges and the rest of the game is interesting and fun to explore. Look at War of the Visions FFBE, it has all the things this game has and, honestly, if it wasn't a FF game, it would probably be dead by now, but it does have fun gameplay and an interesting story at least, it "feels good" to manually play it and, if you do manually play it, you can feel the worth of the grind yourself instead of now just seeing bigger numbers while the auto play runs. If Light of the Stars can't at least provide that, then it's no better than an afk side game...and it'll probably not even be better than Cookie Run Kingdom (why is that game so popular??)

people really need to stop treating mobile games as console/pc games. they are not meant to be played 7 or 10 hours in a sitting.

I don't know your financial situation, but if you are in a situation you feel comfortable with, you don't have to do this. if you want others people to avoid this kind of game just say it in the news type videos you make, or just make a series called worst gachas to avoid.
