My light-painting tubes: lightpainting....
My light-painting software: xangleapps.com...
This episode was supposed to be titled "Working in harsh conditions: the mosquitoes", but we ended up showing a lot of the beauty of our favorite lake instead. Thus, it became mostly a video about this incredible place that we captured over a 24h period on this lovely week-end of September. We got suprised to see fall colors so early in the season, and the temperature was just perfect to play in the water with the tubes.
Topics:
2:15 - Deep blue colors
3:53 - New things to put on top of the tubes
7:39 - My favorite picture
8:03 - Mosquitoes
--- About the Tube Stories
We're a dancer/photographer duo making our way using a tube, a feather, and a flashlight. Everything we do is lit by hand, one frame at a time. Light-painting for us is a lifestyle, and this is what we share with our audience. The purpose of the Tube Stories is to bring a brighter and more colorful night to whoever is going to cross our path. Our work has been presented on the BBC, CNN, MTV, VICE, TEDx and much more.
