Ok so I looked at the lyrics and um... I realized that this could be Mikasa's perspective on season 4 Eren, and just season 4 itself. BTW this might contain spoilers for season 4 How does it feel? Got no one on your side. It isnt how. It is really meant to be. (This reminds me of that scene when Eren transformed in Liberio and Mikasa started explaining to him about the cruel things he's done and people he's killed and how basically everyone see's him as the enemy now, and how all this could have been avoided) As Light and Shadow The sun and the moon (Mikasa is now realizing how their relationship is slowly drifting apart) Torn Between Love and Hate Ive gotta get it somehow. (This is after Eren says he hates Mikasa, and explains to her the it's her Ackerman blood that keeps her so close to him. But Mikasa still refuses to believe him, but eventually accepts the fact that he's right and that she has to "Get it somehow") Gaining by Losing always haunts us. To our dying day, stuck in the haze. How did it ever come to this. (After Sasha's death she realizes that Sasha's death was Eren's fault, but he was still gaining what he needed. "To our dying day, stuck in the haze, how did it ever come to this?" I think of how Mikasa has been following Eren throughout his journey to freedom, and she knew he was going to fight till his dying day, but she still stuck with him. And how it started as him wanting to eradicate the titans. But now in season 4 it's a whole different thing, he wants to eradicate humanity.) (MANGA SPOILER AHEAD!!) Thought I'd never see you again. Once the stars were scattered in pieces, all over the galaxy. (This is after Mikasa kills Eren, and stops the rumbling.) Eyes on eyes what d'you wanna regain? After all I wanna know how you feel about this madness. (Now I see Mikasa, [before the rumbling] wondering what does Eren want to regain, because remember, Mikasa isnt like us special manga readers where she can understand what Eren is thinking by reading a book. She's actually living through all this, so in her perspective she doesn't know why Eren wants to start the rumbling and end humanity, she just wants to know how he feel about this madness."
