Greetings from Florida USA! Love the video and subscribed now! I want to try slow jigging so I bought a Daiwa Saltist STTLD20 and a Shimano Trevala light rod (90g) is this ok? or too heavy?
+jcanracer Hello there! Glad you like the videos! For slow jigging, it really depends on the species you're fishing for as well as the water depth. For our waters here in South East Asia we're fishing depths of between 30 - 80m or so (we did fish parts of Andaman Sea around 150-160m!) and fishing slow jigs between 80g-300g. For us we normally pair the Storm Gomoku rods with overheads such as Daiwa Ryoga 2025PE-H or Saltiga 10/15.
+Boy Balisong Hi Mr Boy, we are not familiar with Power Spell PE2 reel but ideally you can use PE0.8 or PE2 for the Adajo PE2. But if you are not confident with PE2, PE3 is fine too. PE2 is ideal as its a good balance between strength and diameter. However, do ensure your reel drag is smooth as inconsistent drag pressure can cause the line to break when hooked onto a decent fish.
Hello guys I would like to get an email address from you so I can write with a couple of questions. I want to start slow pitch jigging here in the Caribbean. Thanks
