@@unlikelyhydra926 and then they complain about playing Nobu at high-level when this is their play style, lol. She has a good kit if you take the time to learn her full instead instead of just “light, light, light, kick, light, light, dodge light, kick” etc. This is why I always clown on Nobu mains cause they just use her as a crutch and then complain when people can counter it. Nobu has such a high skill ceiling that most Nobus never reach because they’re actual prokaryotic single-celled organisms.
@@chad7917 im not complaining if someone manages to block or parry my attacks i blame it on the ping or my skill but mostly ping Nobushi is a decent hero she needs no nerf or buffs
She didn’t even use her kick undodgable mixup that’s not nobu it’s just a light spam orochi with a bash. Don’t hate on nobu watching someone play her with no RT button
@@NBD-Echo most nobushis I play against do light, light, bleed, kick over and over, thats the reason why I hate nobushis Trust me, when I see nobushis that dont do that, I dont hate them but they're a dime a dozen
@@NBD-Echo Nah bro, all nobushis spam lights and if you're one that doesnt, you dont exist. Trust me, I'm an Orochi that doesnt spam (which means of course that I dont exist).
@@ronwesilen4536 Dont try to parry them, just block. Whenever you see an indicator, put your guard that direction. If you can’t react to that, good luck playing for honor 😬
@@ronwesilen4536 The chained lights are indeed faster, but the second one is not that bad if you do as I said I just try to block as soon as you see the indicator. For the third light, it depends which one you mean actually. Because nobushi has a guaranteed third light if the second one hit, so yeah it is a mechanic of the game and you litterally cannot parry that. This attack can be identified by the lack of indicator. However, after finishing a chain, nobushi can either do a kick or a backward input light. If you are talking about that one as the third light, yes it is indeed really fast and hard to block, especially with lag. But technically, you should still have enough time to block it, the hit stun is not too long.
I had a berserker smurf light spamming in Dominion and I've only been playing this game for 4 days. Light spammers are present for me in every match I play man
This is why I hate Nobushi. Because she can just spam lights from a safe distance and still do insane damage due to her stupid Way of the Shark. You can't even dodge them because it won't get you closer to her and she just hits you with another light or her kick. I think her damage multiplier should be reduced to 10%.
Freakin nice, I always fear that im spamming a character, atleast I dont light spam if I do, I play shaolin mostly, but I never am interested in the characters that have hyper armor or that could dodge anything a nobushi throws...
Nobushi light spam is a fucking pain to deal with. And Ubi's not making it easier by allowing the kick afterwards to wallsplat as well. Fucking cancer.
Hey if u are bad at these blocks and face this type of nobushi don’t do perfect blocks but just stop combo with light pary and then you can work because the first punch is not poisonous and don’t do a lot of damages
This dude is definitely a smurf, but I only play Nobu and don’t have any rep for other characters. I just started playing after a 2 year hiatus, but I hope I don’t get called a smurf when I improve. Unless I invest in other characters as well.
I seriously don't get how you're supposed to counter her? Your gaurd turns black and doesn't allow you to switch positions leaving you defenseless for another hit and the cycle repeats
I was once fighting an orochi ( in duels on console) and they were light spamming however I’m fairly newer to for honor so light spamming orochi is not something I’m good against. They won and were very toxic, I also got a couple messages from them saying on how this is there third smurf.
One way to cheese the light spam is to use characters like Kensei, Tiandi, or Gryphon. Side Dodge attacks tend to go through light spammers offense more often than not.
Idk if that was a smurf. His account had almost 30k gamer score. Thats more tha. I have on my 3 year old acoount that I play daily, and I also play a variety of games. Still have him a good was beating tho
Well the thing with smurfs is you don't know why they smurf. Maybe they lost their account, so that's fair. Maybe they want easy wins, so yeah fuck them. But be aware when you're good at the game, good as in you can dispatch four hackers by yourself, you actually don't even get matched anymore
Disclaimer: This is my Opinion, calm down everyone I doubt that that Nobu is a smurf. Having all your reps on one hero, isn't that rare to see. Back in the day when I started, my first 10 Reps were Orochi. And that Nobu is way too dumb to be a smurf. Disclaimer #2: It's still my Opinion, feel free to disagree
Ngl third round you shouldve opened with a dash + heavy, since it has hyper armor and from prievous behavior the nobushi would've been recovering from a light swing or mid swing and it would've been a fair trade. Then again I understand why you decided not to, as he could've baited if out with one swipe and dodge out of the way as he saw you advancement, dash + heavy is a fun opener when you need to do something unexpected ngl.
That's no smurf, that's just a guy who pressed 3 buttons and won every single match because new players don't have quick reactions or know this hero's moves. Still, good beat up
@@xdra7657 well in 30f its hard to react to lights to me i can block it without problem but when i parry i have hard time in it and i guess im the only one who see deflect a light attack is easier then parry maybe because deflect and block window are at the last moment of the attack when the parry is near the mid if the attack
@@biblicallyaccuratefurbie4690 lmaooo 15 reps compared to 70 reps makes it look low but when you consider getting to rep 15 is probably gonna take you close to 50 hours that's no where close to new 😂😂
@@badasswarthog im in masters and people mostly assassin mains only spam lights! Its not hard to deal with but its kinda frustrating like how tf did you get up here?
@@Jacob-dc1xt the one time i got into masters every other match i had too deal with a light spamming assassin, i feel ya on how frusterating it is. But right now in every other rank between high silver and diamond its just infested with light spammers
I’ve mained nobu since before they took away her counter guardbreak from hidden stance (so a long time) but all people do now is spam w her, giving nobu such a bad rep. She’s actually a character u need skill to use but when people spam w her... she’s just a bitch at that point
try going into training arena and practice against light attacks. it takes a long time to get used to it. tbh until now i can parry on react, only on read. but hey, practice makes perfect. u can do it bro 💪
@@theothercrimson look bro. I don't want to be an asshole. You beat her yeah. But bro. You're 200 reps and you can't parry lights? I've seen rep 40s consistently light parry. You couldn't parry her sprint light, and when you did light parry, you did the wrong punish. Like I said, i don't want to be an asshole, but it was such a pain watching you do the wrong punishes over and over
Okay fuck the way that Nobu plays, it also, you can’t even really say he got “wrecked”. Cuz he did the same thing every round, and still almost beat you. It was also a 3-2 win sooo🤷🏻♂️
To be fair you aren't use the optimal punish and im not an pro but if the guy light more than twise, i would be able to parry easy event the first one he came.
@@Kaidvn I'm no god, far from it. But any mid tier player, from console to PC, will be able to parry at least 60% of their lights with practice. There will be days where we eat every single light and get pissed (losing streaks), and others where nothing can hit us. Maybe this wasn't the best day for our cent here, but the next day we could see him ending careers 3-0 all the way. It doesn't take godhood to know what's possible and what isn't. I know that, with my practice and getting the hands warm, I can parry lights like these pretty often.
The funniest part about all of this is that (trigger warning) This video says the Nobu gets recked and the Cent even said ez claps, although he was getting shit on completely he only parried the Nobu like 5 times out of the 30 light attacks
He did win 2 rounds just by lightspamming without any feinting etc,you really sucked as cent didnt even get many parries. It was a close one but im still happy that you won
I really hope this vid gets into ubi s eyes. It's so absurd how ls as NooBushi can get you so far into ranked and even win a few rounds against some of the best players. Not all of us are gods at this game and its frustrating af when u use your brain into mix ups to lose against monke mashing m1
@@theothercrimson it does when the title says "gets wrecked". I think probably 99% of the gaming community takes the term "getting wrecked" as meaning lost by a large margin.
