What a cute little guy he turned out to be. Absolutely gorgeous. I'm going g to be making a few of these. I have a sister that lives in a facility connected to a nursing home and they have a little apt and its kind of like assisted living but yet it's not. Hard to explain but they do have someone to check on them ever so often. They are 81 and 82 and drive, cook, and get along just fine and I hope they keep doing great so think I will make them a set also. Tfs. Love,love these.

I did nor know that the Dollar Tree sold buttons. They are even quite pricey even at Walmart, if you need a lot of them. Thanks for tip. Love your snowman. Also, your bird "P" is adorable.

Amazon has much better fairy lights. The battery pack is small, and takes a button cell battery. It makes it so much easier to hide it, and it’s not heavy.

Really cute Jody! Gives me all sorts of ideas. Maybe use a white chalk paint marker to make those eye highlights a little whiter. I was thinking you could also set the snowman up on one of those small DT wooden crates and have a place to hide the battery pack (if you have lights with the big battery packs) then the box could be decorated too! Thanks for the inspiration. And I love how you leave the bloopers in, because we all make mistakes..it’s the only way to learn. 😉 ⛄️

I took your idea and made a pumpkin with Orange and rust glitter combined and put inside with the aid of Mod Podge. I wish I knew how to attach a photo.

I’ve not had good luck with hot glue sticking to glass, especially long term. I really don’t like hot glue for my projects because I want them to last,,and hot glue doesn’t hold up long term, except on some fabrics.
