i like this alot, but i hate crosman they give you a decent pistol for cheap but if you want a scope/RD they force you to pay them again for that crappy barel mount (i need a mount to mount a mount for a scope? wtf is wrong whit them) or to buy a steel breech whit a scope rail (here you loose your "iron sights") whi dont they just make a version whit a steel breech, scope rail and mechanical sights? i would pay the litle extra for it
if you look in the breech hole and notice where the pellet stops when the bolt is closed. it has the skirt mid way over the air hole and when you pull the trigger for a split second your pellet is pushed back and forward. the probe puts the pellet in front of the hole so that it only goes forward maximizing your air pressure...the o rings help as the air is only going to the breach and none escapes except down the barrel.

Но мне не лень повториться. 1 - улучшение герметизации болта, да и воздушной муфты (железное колечко, лучше его приклеить к стволу, а не как в видео), 2 - проталкивание пульки, теперь она не над отверстием, из которого воздух идёт, а дальше. Это всё увеличивает мощность.
Are there oser plastic parts exept brown parts ? cuz i have bad memories about plastic, and is this plastic solid and correctly assembled ? And you re a fucking cunning handyman ;)

I have a 2240 and I have been thinking about grinding the bolt nipple to give more air flow and as a note, this mod pushed the pellet to the rifling and in front of the air port. This will increase your FPS about 20, but if you thin the nipple some you will get even more pressure. maybe 40 FPS. Trigger spring, take the back cap off and take the spring out and go to hardware store and find a spring same diameter that is 1/8 inch longer, the spring will be stiffer. The power will increase also. I added a 18" barrel with the mods and get about 600 FPS now...
bkr360 pushing the pellet further down the barrel does nothing because it's the bolt that partially blocks the transfer port ! Now by making the bold smaller on the end I could see that making a difference !
Robert Bush actually pushing the pellet further in (making it seat better) could help with accuracy. Why some people perfer single loading instead of using a mag. Well this could take that a step futher. It would sure or SHOULD surely seat all the pellets in the same exact spot in the barrel. At least i believe so... Join the topic. Always like better info, ideas, etc...
In addition to brown parts, plastic is black sighting equipment and black box of bolt (my natural language is Russian, I can not translate special tecnical words correctly). Brown plastic nice and solid. Black plastic sighting equipment is not very good. Black plastic box of bolt is good.
@@johnhoffman5459 : it simply modified the bolt so when chambering a pellet it is pushed a bit further into the barrel with a bit of nail epoxied into the hole in the bolt, thus putting the pellet seated into the grooves and in a better position to use more of the compressed air = faster and perhaps more consistent shots. Im pretty sure you made it far worse than before tbh... You can replace the cylinder with an American version. They have no bleed holes. If you can invest into a brass cylinder. They are capable of 570fps.

Ну изначально носик "досылателя" короткий и пульку ставил прямо на отверстие откуда выходит сжатый воздух, удлинив носик я освободил путь сжатому воздуху, это первое. Ещё то колечко, что на "досылателе" стоит в самом начале, не достаточно плотно блокирует ствол с козённой части, ток что не лишним было его улучшить, таким образом избавились от основной утечки воздуха. Ещё я там резинку одел на стальную муфточку маленькую, которая соединяет накопитель воздуха и ствол...
i did all these mods to mine and my 1377 sounds more powerful...instead of air excaping it is forced up the barrel i also messed with the trigger spring to lighten the trigger pull the stuff this man is showing you really works great!!!
Thanks for the informative clip!I have applied your techniques where I can,as I have an early model 1377.The standard breach bolt does clear the pellet at least 4 to 5mm past inlet valve hole,but I did buy&fit an over sized o ring to breach bolt,and it is sealing really well now :) I just have to place an o ring on inlet valve,and job is done.Thanks again!
Спасибо за видео туториал, действительно такой апгрейд делается за 10 минут максимум. Сверлил отверстие под досылающий шток сверлом 0.8мм, хвостовик этого же сверла и засадил на жидкие гвозди внутрь. Прогрел затвор термофеном, все стало как влитое! Теперь после 5ти качков тяжелая шпуля уходит в дерево полностью.
A file works best when you go in one direction. Plus it will take more off a lot faster than going back and forth. Depending on the files direction will depend on which way you go in.
Drilling a tiny hole on the bolt tip is mission impossible to me, so I simply wrap a 0.1" plastic cylinder with a heat shrimp tube. I did not even dissemble the breach by heating the heat shrimp tube on a drill bit first. See the photo: snipboard.io/RtYkpJ.jpg
Wow they really changed the design. My 1377 I bought in 1979 has all of that from the factory. plus a separate cocking handle on the rear. Pellets 745fps. BBs 889fps. They must make the new ones really weak now days. Be sure to use real pellet gun oil Not regular gun oil. Regular gun oil will damage the plunger/pump seal.
... там изначально просто металл воткнут в металл, безо всяких прокладок. Вот то что я сделал на видео это херня, сейчас я взял эту муфточку и эпоксидкой приклеил к стволу, утечки вообще практически исчезли, пистолет стал заметно мощнее, правда теперь не так просто его разобрать из-за этого стало, да и пофиг, надо будет разобрать оторву муфточку от ствола.
@aqtemka у меня нет хрона, я не знаю какая теперь скорость, но выстрел стал звучать как бы сочнее и пробивать пистоль стал то что не пробивал, например пластиковую бутылку с водой с 6 метров насквозь, ещё заряжать стало удобней.
Спасибо. Я провёл ещё одну модификацию, но не заснял. Я взял ту маленькую муфточку, что положил в баночку, и намертво приклеил её эпоксидкой к стволу, так, что теперь утечки вообще ушли, мощность ещё повысилась. Но вот разобрать пистолет теперь до конца не получится, придётся оторвать муфточку, но меня это не особо волнует.
Я где то в комментариях написал ещё про одну небольшую доработку, можешь поискать, там про то, что я железную воздушную муфту приклеил к стволу намертво эпоксидкой, стало ещё лучше, утечек вообще, как будто нету.
Возможно ссылка была перемещена, я тоже не смог открыть, попробуй поискать вручную. Это не ап, а скорее доводка, которая убирает основные утечки воздуха, ну и носик на досылателе удлиняется, что бы пулька не вставала прямо на отверстии, откуда подаётся воздух.
Мне повезло взять у друга довоенный американский набор шестигранников, и самый маленький действительно на 1 мм, я в магазинах такого не находил, но есть выход, можно напильником подточить 1.5 мм шестигранник до 1 мм, я где то читал, что кто то даже гвоздик так смог заточить.
Да, шестигранник редкий размер у него где то миллиметровый, тот что на видео - дал мне друг, это довоенный американский набор. Я где то читал, что люди их вытачивают из уже готовых шестигранников или гвоздиков. Возможно есть смысл после вывинчивания пропилить винт под минус.

Да я хотел раньше купить МР512 в дереве, там всё как надо сделано, и качество неплохое, прицельные приспособы хорошие довольно, но она такая здоровенная, машины у меня тогда не было и я решил купить кросман, он в сумку помещается, ещё в добавок мощнее мурки.
Я живу во Владивостоке, у нас почти в каждом магазине оружейном есть, ещё я один раз видел в магазине спортинвентаря. Я свой купил за 4600, в сети магазинов "Снайпер" он чуть дороже, в общем почти везде, где продаётся пневматика.
use silicon oil , other oils can explode under pressure its known as 'dieseling', also good for more fps ! put a drop of light oil in the back of a pellet ,goes with a bang ;-)
@mlb0226 В начале использовалась не отвёртка, а шестигранник, вообще он довольно редкий, это самый маленький который бывает, кажется. Вообще его можно выточить из гвоздика.
@dragonforcerockshard The bb's are sub-caliber. That's why they roll out of the end of the barrel. They are actually size B steel shot not BB. If you bought real BB size steel shot from a reloading supplier they would spoil your rifling and might stick in the barrel. The bb's sold for air guns is .170 caliber not .180 like reloading BB.
If im not mistaken there are 3 seals one to close the opening when a pellet is inserted, one in the form of a ball which is released when the weapon in discharged and the obvious one used to pump pressure into the gun. Did you consider putting a better spring behind the bolt so it stays snugly in-place when ready to fire and replacing the seal as you did? Could you explain why exactly you added length to the feed probe? Thanks.
i did this to but i dident like how it was with the lighter's rubber ring i made the push rod a bit shorter and on the back side i drilled/cut out a place for a small neodymium magnet to hold it open for loading /translated я сделал это, чтобы я, но dident нравится, как это было с резиновым кольцом легче это я сделал толкатель немного короче и на обратной стороне я пробурено / вырезать место для небольших неодимовых магнит держать ее открытой для загрузки
having torn down my 2240 last night, I was thinking this exact mod, the air from the valve hits the front and back of the pellet, so this is the perfect mod... the extra seal makes more pressure in the barrel.

Эх хоть бы кто отстрелял бы на скорость пули до и после процедуры , понятно что улучшение будет , но вот на сколько ? Есть 1322 не прошедший данную процедуру но нет хрона , есть идеи у кого ,как сравнить без хрона корректно ? Кроме выстрела в доску с одинакового расстояния до и после что то в голову ничего не приходит
Мужики все работает! Проверено на кросман 1377. Я дополнительно приклеил металическую муфты на епоксид и прижал ствол металическим зажимом чтобы не тратил! Теперь пула H&n brakujące Hunter 0,67 g летит 190м/с можете пошитать сколько joules 😀. Я дополнительно смазиваю свинец маслом Power pellet lubе фирмы Napier😉 Спасибо за замечательный ролик и поздравляю из Польши
