I just love that the decks in flame aren't generic for each class with a boss monster Each one has a unique play-style

For some reason, this fight made me remember that Hiro and Mimori never had an on-screen fight, and that just makes me sad, even if I didn't care about either of them.

I get it. *Drago weapons only work on non-armed followers* That lizard already had the armed trait, so drago weapon wouldn't do a thing to it.

i also like how they have made every battle more than one episode, and i haven't watched the anime but there seems to be less filler

Only 12 episodes in and I feel like Shadowverse Flame is already better than the previous anime. Like almost everyone feels more fleshed out and likable while having a solid story while explaining the card game properly. Seriously, must’ve gotten new writers or something

I really like how the first song's transition to the next.

Hm...this was a great battle. But I kind of wish that she won. Hear me out. What would have happened if Light lost, but genuinely had an amazing time and learned a lot of new stuff about the game, while Tsubasa won, but is now confronted by the fact that the fight didn't actually bring her any joy? Her mindset wouldn't have been directly opposed, but it would be invalidated because this guy just DIDN'T GIVE UP, even though he couldn't win? I think it could have done a lot to kickstart some character growth for both. Light, because we have another strong rival for him to defeat. And Tsubasa, by giving her a reason to find enjoyment in playing the game itself, rather than simply dominating her opponents. I dunno. I think it's an interesting lesson for a character to learn in a show like this, and one that often isn't shown by female characters...then again, Shadowverse is one of the few card game anime that lets them actually win games on a regular basis, so there's that, too.
