it's crazy that this app is for free... absolutely love it

I wish this editor was on PC too since I like it but for big stuff I am limited by storage space on my device so PC would be great!

Thanks for this sir. Haven't tried it yet but it's strange that the description for the app in the Google Play store mentions nothing about being able to read directly from certain DJI devices. Not doubting that the feature exist as you demonstrated it in the vid. It's a stand out feature that seperates it from the other mobile video editing apps out there particularly for DJI users. Also I'm sure it works on Android tablets..I'll let you know

Great video, very easy to follow. Unfortunately I cannot edit directly from my mini3 pro, I can view the files, but the program is then permanently stuck on the analysing files at 0%. works fine when dowloaded to my phone, any suggestions? thanks again for the video, I will keep refering to it on my travels

Those train clips look fantastic. Is that Mini 3 footage? No! Or is it Mavic 3 or better? This reminds me a lot of the DJI Fly and/or the Go4 app editors. It looks a little better though. So are these music tracks Copyright Free?

Hi there ... nice review ... I miss the days of fast transfer with dji fly app which now doesnt work with Air3... i have contacted dji as i have tried many times to use this light cut app with no success... im guessing still have major glitches....it says connected to drone and then i cant find my flight files ... also editing with drone on fan goes on besides getting hot its just irritating ... is there any other way to transfer files the the dji fly app ..... they should have let software app in app ...now i have to use other software to edit like cap cut from my laptop ,,,,,seems a waste of time lightcut but its working for u but there must be a better way ...... i will do a review on my channel to show this softwares short commings ........ty

To connect my Android phone to my Mini 3 Pro, while in Lightcut, I had to disconnect from my home WiFi network.

it's *110% USELESS* for me! I fought with it's limited speed & split precision until I made a video far less intuitively than with inshot (WHY won't any of these programs work in LANDSCAPE! EFF PORTRAIT!!!), but even worse, the video is locked in the app in an invisible folder I can't search for to find my video to effing upload it here, so USELESS!

Why doesn't the product have computer support? :( Our eyes are tired from working on the phone :)

Nice tutorial. I have a lot of video clips I’d like to edit together and share online but just get lazy knowing I have to import it all and sit down at the computer. This app looks pretty intuitive and easy to use on the phone. 👌🏻

Great tutorial. I've been playing with the app, is there any way to make the AI make a longer final video? When selecting 10-15 mins of clips it always outputs a a 20-30s clip

I am trying to use this on an iPad and it seems it must be used vertically only. Is this correct? The app doesn't rotate when you go horizontal? For me this is rather odd and I don't especially like the feel and look when having to edit with the iPad in a vertical position. I did write to DJI to see if this is correct but got no reply. Do you know? Is there a vertical lock or something I am missing. As you say it is a smartphone app only now so maybe I just need to wait.

This looks like really interesting software, which you demonstrated and explained very well. My problem with this is that the drone needs to be switched on while editing, This will obviously deplete the battery or if it can be edited whilst the drone is connected to a power source, it will likely overheat and turn itself off.

Thank you very much for this Sean. I have been editing on the iPad, using iMovie, after pulling in all those huge 4k files, and laboriously sifting through and reviewing section after section, doing what limited editing is available. Though I see the ‘cookie-cutter’ argument, this is nothing short of miraculous, for when you are out and about flying and shooting all day, and just wanting to send a quick edit to friends and family, showing them what you were up to. I am for sure converting to LightCut as soon as I have downloaded the app. This just made my month, thank you.

Hi, Thank you for sharing this. I have a question for you how to do picture in picture with lightcut? If for example I import a clip from my drone and a clip from my Phone.. IS there a way to merge them so that I can see the clips at the same time when exporting the file later?

HELP PLEASE. Having issues with network connection errors. I'm able to connect my tablet to the drone after activating the DJI Mini4 Pro, it loads images, I choose 1 Tap Editing, selected the images/videos, it starts loading, then the error message pops up and stops the process. Can you change the desired length when you use one-tap edit? I made some mountainbike footage. Get several recordings of 10 minutes each and i want to create a 3 minute movie with it. Just starting, so nu sure how yet. Recordings are created with DJI Action 4

Am I not set up correctly? I’m trying the AI one-tap edit and added some clips (no highlights). Every time, the app fails to analyze the files and just hangs at 1% or 3%. Anyone else experience this?

Do you know if there is a way of editing videos without storing them to your phone? These files are massive and doesn't even let me store them sometimes. maybe I can hook up an external drive to my phone?

I think this is just the DJI Mimo editing software now. My only issue with the AI templates is that it forces them in to 20 seconds or less. It would be great if you could chose your own length and music, but still get AI clip selection.

I have the DJI Pocket 3 camera and see that you can put DJI filters on the videos in the light cut app cinelike. Which color mode do I have to record in so that I can overlay cinelike on the videos? Do you have to record the videos in D Log M color mode? Or does cinelike work even if the videos were recorded in 10bit normal color?

hi buddy the only problom with this app you cant put your own music in the edit and for the filming i do none of the music fits with my filming

when i connected to the mini 4 and selected files, download failed every time. video editing is better without all the shortcuts. bring a computer and do it the right way. sorry but this crap doesn't work. i disabled cellular too, nothing helps.
