I HAVE BEEN WAITING for THIS video. I love you and your reactions and what you call Norwegian brain like when its sooo good you just can't find the words. Girl that's not Norwegian brain that is all of us when it come to Kelly and her vocals.The production is nothing less than perfection, the emotion and I would argue this whole album is her best work lyrically. I am very glad you talked about her enunciatiation and her choices. I notice she does that a lot on this whole album. Your reaction to Jessi transitioning to lead was great they do that more than people realize, listen to tightrope they do the same thing. and I love listening to a track and trying to figure out if and when Kelly is doing her own backing or if it's Jessi. I could write a freaking book about the layers of this song just a masterpeice. Glad you a feeling better.

Agree with you on the production and the that.. this album just hits different. It seems way more personal in a way (and that's saying something!) both lyrically and musically, I feel like. I love how she's transformed and happy to be along for the ride ❤️☺️ And that transition???? I'm still not over it. While editing this video I was still reacting to it haha. SO GOOD!! @@HegeOfficial Somehow I missed this one when you first posted it! I was having withdrawals from your Kelly reactions. Like RLS said, your reactions are just the best. It always feels like I'm gushing with a KC fan friend when I watch you, because you always see and hear all the little things that make us flip out. I am so SO happy you keep coming back to Kelly all the time. Sometimes other reactors discover her, go nuts for a short period, and then forget she exists all over again. Another great Kelly reaction! Always a pleasure to watch you appreciate her talents. How much do you suppose she thinks about technique while performing? Is she thinking about going from head to chest voice or does she just feel the song and her body reacts to her emotions? I feel that her being so naturally empathic aids her in being able to express emotion through voice.

Thank you so much ☺️❤️ I don't think she gives it much thought when she's performing, as she's a well-trained vocalist and seasoned performer. She and her producers (vocal and musical producer) will have gone through how they want the sound and expression for each song to be of course, but she doesn't have to think about the specific techniques while performing, that's sort of "on autopilot" at that point. If that makes sense ☺️

Just an incredible song and performance. Pure perfection! The gorgeous lyrics, vocal performance, the vulnerability, her amazing band, and backup singers, and, as you are always good at recognizing, top notch production. I can't say how much I enjoy your reviews! I love your enthusiasm and technical knowledge that you share. I loved your analogy of the "waves" because I thought the same thing in that section of the song. As always, Kelly wrings every emotion out of the lyrics, and her voice is so pure and sweet that it brings tears just listening to her. She's amazing.

This makes me so happy ❤️ Thank you! And right? The wave thing must be intentional, I think the other ways she paints the lyrics are too. Like when she sings "I almost lost all my light.." on a descending melody, and "fly away" on the highest part of the verse too. Kelly did it beautifully, and I agree about her way of really expressing those emotions ❤️🙌 Thank you so much for watching!

yea this production of lighthouse is so perfect i wish that the recorded version had a longer break like this one did after the "as if i could do that" cause it really emphasized the wording for me

Everything about this video is why I have seen her live 25 times 28 if you includ the virtual audience Kellyokes i got to see being recorded and plan to add more to it! This woman, her band, and her backing vocalist always deliver the most unbelievably amazing performances. Im always on such a high after a Kelly show because of all the feels this woman can give you! I loved your reaction to her and jessi switchin it up they do that so much more than most people realize but they know they sound so much alike if necessary so they use it and its always mind boggling haha!

I love this whole album and have listened to it many times. And since Me and Mine were the first two releases, prior to the album, I thought they were going to be the best songs. However, in my opinion this song was even better. That being said, all of the songs are good. But this one I felt so deeply. She is masterful lyrically and vocally, and her relatability you spoke of just makes you love her all the more.
