I love this show and plus it marks the return of Chick Hicks and plus he references Lightning helping The King despite Chick winning in the first film so apparently the show is canon, I guess. Oh yeah and I'm not sure if its Michael Keaton or Bob Peterson voicing Chick. I'm also glad that Miss Fritter returns so overall great show and I cant wait to see it in Hollywood Studios

I agree with others it does seem sort of like a "waste" of space BUT It's nice to have something there that looks pretty cute. I personally really enjoy Cars so I'm looking forward to watching next time we visit. I'm sure it's more enjoyable in person with the big screens.

Could they have put something better in here? Yeah, probably. Does it really matter what they put here? No, probably not. If this wasn't going into a pre-existing theater, it would be terrible, but since the theater was already there, it's a perfectly servicable people-eater. Since that's pretty much what it's meant to be, it shouldn't be judged too harshly. With that said - holy cow - they need to tone it down on that stupidly forced, hammered in message. Oh, the show can have a message, but any child with an attention span longer than -5 seconds can tell you that they need to stop repeating the message. I'm pretty sure Lightning McQueen was only created to give Owen Wilson another word to say that ends in "-ow," not to be trying to teach me a lesson

Yes but they needed something cheap and easy to help with the future star Wars crowd sizes and Pixar has a good presents at this park. Still, this and the other secondary Disney parks NEED HEAVY investments into there rides and adding more.

Yeah, that's why I said this thing was a good people-eater. That's what it's there to do; it's to keep people away from Galaxy's Edge. Just like how Philharmagic is going into California Adventure. I'm saying that for that reason, there's no need to be super critical of it, but there are some things I would do differently. Just because I'm IN a people-eating attraction doesn't mean I need to be reminded of it. Also, the other parks are getting their huge investments. Epcot's preparing for its huge renovation along with its two new attractions. Magic Kingdom's getting Tron as well as an update to Tomorrowland. Animal Kingdom is also still riding high with Pandora. So, all the parks are and have had money poured into them. Plus, expansions for Disneyland and almost all of the international resorts have been announced and are underway.

So I'm really confused here... they've clearly invested a good chunk of money in a FANTASTIC animatronic, and then put it in a very temporary feeling, cheap show. I mean, it's a fun looking show, it is what it is, it does exactly what it says on the tin. Did they already have the animatronic in the works for something else, and that fall through so this show is created around it? Are there long term plans to use it somewhere else and it's "parked" here for now? Or were the original plans a lot more extensive, then they scaled back everything apart from the animatronic? I'm sure fans of the "Cars" IP and their families will enjoy this, but unlike Radiator Springs over in DCA which has appeal far beyond the IP, I can't imagine many people will go out of their way to watch this show unless they're really stuck for something to do!

Disagree. This was a last minute decision to have something be put on this "space" and was announced just last year. To be able to come up a show like this in a short amount of time is not a waste. It is definitely a filler attraction or crowd eater but it was never meant to be a "ride."

Well, if one pays over $110 per ticket I am making the most of that money and not wasting it watching a tech demo for a preshow of a ride they are not building.
