Why so much misinformation about the CRIT CHANCE??? The 15% Crit Chance boost to LS doesn't mean 100% of your SPLINTERING ASPECT will crit, as it has its own Crit Chance. So by having Crit Chance at 85%, yes, LS crits 100% of the time, but Splinters only 85%. 15% Damage Drop...?
@@TheRC2022 the splitter DMG is not what ur trying to crit 100% of the time. The splitter DMG only happens when lighting spear does crit. So you want lighting spear to crit every single time. So it always causes the aspect splitting effect.
@@scot3296 I change chest to Ty with this same set up still killing fast (not as fast as raiment) when doing 7-8 in party of 4. There’s just no way without dying especially the raining fires. Hard to see too when there more people especially with 2 sorcerer in party. That’s the only solution I found so far.
You can get a spark from Lilith, one for your first torment boss kill another for opening the XX purple season reward cache (Istel). This last one, you can get on every character you make this season. So just roll another hero, get the XX cache and without dropping a single uber unique, you can craft yourself one Harlequin.
I tend to play this build (on PC) with an Xbox Elite controller. My son and I found out last weekend about holding the button down. By setting the back paddle to the Lightning Spear skill, can hold that down and focus just on the shields, frost orbs, teleport, unstable currents. However, we could not get fist of fates upgrades and got no fractured winterglass drops. After exhausting all our stygian stones from the season journey, we farmed pits and infernal hordes all day yesterday and got just1 stygian stone. When you showed all your Fractured Winterglasses, we became instantly jealous.
@@Dugtrio1 I have one that dropped in the season journey chest rewards. But it's 3 Conjuration Mastery with 46% frozen orb chance to spawn and 64% lucky hit.
What about one of the most important questions…breakpoints for CD and how to get to them. ATTK SPD doesn’t even seem to matter if you don’t have low enough CD. How is the average person going to get a GA CD shako?
Thank you. I made a similar comment earlier. I have since improved my gear, and I now have a triple crit CDR Shako (non GA), triple crit CDR tal rasha (non GA), triple crit lightning spear CDR temper on 2nd ring with a decent roll, and 0.7 on winterglass - and guess what? Lightning spear is still nowhere near spammable... Lightning spear tooltip says 6.49sec. Talking about attack speed, frames, and changing accessibility options to hold down a button is all basically irrelevant for 99.9% of the player base.
@@ryanjansenvanrensburg3281 Therefore, I replaced both rings and gauntlets with some with INT instead of AS and guess what? My damage output grew remarkable. Attack speed becomes relevant if you reach ~5.1 sec CD on lightning spear. Just AFTER you came down to 5.1 sec, you can start trying to reduce frames with attack speed.
Masterwork the CD on shako Masterwork the CD on tal Masterwork the CD and conj mastery on FWG(your fwg shouldnt be garbage either) Non of those need GA. Work on getting atk spd, crit rate, and crit dam on gloves and ring. Master work hp on tibaults Master work dr on tyrael (tyraels is not needed though) Int, max life, and crit dam on staff. All this is not difficult to achieve. This will easily clear T7 hordes. With just some small improvements you will be able to easily clear T8. I farm T8 as I find the GA box to be a bit better and the stone drop rate is higher.
@@coryhyatt2035 yea I did the best I could, still tweaking but without a GA shako it’s still hard. I can clear tier 8 solo no problem, on farm so it’s not that. I watched another video that was very helpful that spoke about the breakpoints for LS and attack speed, with a good firsts of fate I’m able to make it work but getting LS cooldown to 5.95 and then the next breakpoint is 5.15 is the dream, but good luck. Attack speed you want at 89.3 buffed with ult
Thanks for the video - very informative. I would like to mention that the master working rolls are quite noticable. As soon as you get to Tier 7 you can masterwork everything to 12 quickly. And then try to go on and re-roll all the items for perfect stats as in the guide: - Winterglass (I have GA Conjuration) - Tal Rashas (I have GA CD) - Shako I just did the re-rolling on Winterglass and Tal-Rashas. Shako had already 2/3 rolls on CD previously. These two re-rolls were quite noticable. While yesterday the bosses in Tier 8 took quite some time, now it is very quick. Waves are way easier.
This video is great for those of us who don’t have perfect gear and can better understand what works in the meantime. Like using Fists of Fate with high lucky hit chance will pair better with a Winterglass that has a mediocre secondary chance for conjurations to spawn orbs. Everyone else just says not to use FoF because its special ability doesn’t proc but ignoring tthey have perfect gear. I made the switch and is definitely smoother.
The chain reaction is easy to maintain on training dummies, they are close and don't die after the first hit. In normal situations, only the 3 bosses of HH offer me a sustain fire even with 100% lucky hit
Not sure about your setup, but I'm able to maintain it in single boss fight with close to 170% lucky hit chance and 96% atk speed. I have GA LHC Fists of Fate with 3 MW on it
I have 80.7 cdr for lightning spear, 100% crit with it, and 90% atk speed, my amulet only has 0.5 cdr on explosions. I'm on xbox series x and can't get above 40 stacks, usally average only 30, is that just cause I'm not on pc? Or am I missing something

Thank you for all the answers (and the useful links)! Did not even know I had that many questions. Diving straight back in to change my gear. Definitely do not have enough attack speed or CDR yet.
Just got my first 1000 aether run largely thanks to your guides. Was also looking at the stats menu and I noticed that conjuration mastery multiplicatively stacks with all damage. I tested it out briefly at the dummies and was able to get up to 480% with an int/hp/cd staff. With a (ga)damage/int/crit staff I was able to get that up to 917%, which with all my other base damage modifiers was a 45% damage increase. Might be one of the rare builds that's worth using an all damage roll on it.
@@rene.s.s that's what i would probably do. I'm still kinda a noob at this build but it seems like you probably don't need the HP that badly if you're following the build guide. I rolled it off my staff and I'm using 2 topaz on my armor and I'm still only dying in t8s to BS or my own stupidity right now.
Thx Rob, you are the first to tell the players not to evade. I was wondering about that in other guides. Besides, if you want to clear all the content in the game you don't need that good items. I clear T8 hordes with mid gear. So, it should be possible for anyone with a shako to get this done. For pit pushing you can max the gear but it is not necessary because you get zero benefit from pit pushing😂. Great guide, best so far.
What are the requirements to get +60 conjugations? I have very high crit chance and 56% attack speed when using an elexir. Can not reach 60 for the life of me. Stuck around 20-25 And I have +10 to conjugation mastery.
@@Scotty47170 yeah I think I might swap out tal Rashas for another as cc cd ring with LS cool-down and see how that goes for me. But yeah never able to get higher then 25, some times 30
What's your cooldown for lighting spear? His is 5.1, I think. Mines 5.9 and can reach mid 40s. But i have to use a sword and offhand. My shako CDR is MWx2 and my talrashas CDR is MWx2 aswell, still not enough cdr to spam lightning spear. Build is very GA and masterwork dependent. I have x2 MW and x3 MW BiS for all of my gear but still struggle.
I have a shako with 3x MW Cdr and a GA Tal Rasha with 3x MW Cdr. I've got 5,16 "Cooldown with offhand. So i can do the 60s but with a two hand staff my cdr ist too low.

First off, I appreciate you. Your builds have helped me a lot. I work 60 plus hours a week and a great guide is what I need. Last season you helped me with a barb build that killed it! I helped 12 casual players get ubers. This season is killing me because I can't get a decent fractured winterglass. I'm not powerful enough to take on Uber zir, and regular zir won't drop one. A kind player gave me a minimum roll. And I totally appreciate it. Any tips on getting a better one or a build that will let me farm one? Thank you.
Superb video Rob!! I watched the video, noticed I was only getting 30 conj stacks, made changes to my attack speed, triple crit my shako CDR (my money...😔), double crit GA conj CDR on amulet, and dropped tals for 2nd ring. My Conj stacks went from 30 to 57. Maybe a lil more optimization i'll get it to 60, but im happy!! Rob = The Man!!! #LOGIN!!!

Lucky Hit question: I rolled lucky hit for Ice Blades instead of lucky hit for Lightning Spear… does this make a big difference? Do passively summoned Ice Blades get Lucky Hit?
Great vídeo Rob as usual! Quick question..on one of your streams you showed which keys you bind when you want to move and cast without stopping to cast. could you just remind what it was? Shift?
one question I did have, was an earlier gear question. No uber uniques and only a baseline .3 winterglass (working on improving and masterworking it rn for better stats). as it stands, i cap close to 11-15 conjurations at once. In most scenarios i'm around 11. Swapping mastery from Vyr's to an Esu's + Ancient flame. for a flat 45-50% attack speed. before your stuff is all capped out. especially before shako, when you have the cdr, all of the additional orbs can help a bit. but I'm not sure what to replace for it MH - Splintering Energy OH - Shredding Blades (considered accursed touch here as well. it + ice blades and you reset very fast on bosses even with low conjurations) ring - Frozen Orbit glove - Ancient Flame. Considering the OH as Ancient flame, and dropping shredding blades to equip fist of fate. as the ancient flames attack speed seems to be what's holding my build together rn without all the attack speed, cdr type stuff included yet.
@@insertnamehere4419 get cdr high enough. the build plays on an exponential curve. so each individual mechanic feeds into the next. so once you have good cdr on hourglass, cdr from a GA/masterworked shako. you end up with a lot of baseline conjurations those conjurations each have a lucky hit chance to cast frozen orbs, which all explode 3 times and each has a high chance to spawn another conjuration. It kind of feeds itself in an exponential loop so long as you maintain the amount of LS needed on hard cast to keep baseline. We're capped right now, but if we weren't and had higher lucky hit. you could reach a point where they would sustain their own numbers even with no input from you outside of getting it started. but that would require a fairly high number, and targets that live long enough to recieve lucky hit procs. it's why boss fights tend to have fewer orbs than AoE (5 targets hit + lucky hit vs 1)
@@insertnamehere4419 rob and a few others do an obscene amount of ubers, usually in groups and group play. in zir case, if you have 4 of them all doing blood maiden runs for blood. they get 4 for the kill instead of 1. and when they do kill zir it then has drops for each of the 4. group play is pretty effecient when done. and at the level of play that players like rob/wudi are at, and how frequently they play and group together. the sheer quantity of drops and runs they get relative to the average player is greater than the grand canyon. that said, just having 12/12 full uniques and mythics with fairly decent rolls will likely get close to 40ish. even a non GA shako with 12/12 masterwork if it goes mostly cdr (so 1/12 odds. so you'll be resetting it often). is so much cdr that you spam LS very very fast. and at that point you swap to x2 LS staff instead of x2 orb staff.
I really don't understand why my conjuration stacks aren't getting higher than maybe 20 stacks, maybe I lack alot of CDR? I have like 9,5s cd on lightning spear...at 36,8% cdr
THIS!!! I can't get higher than 20 stacks of conj mastery and i have no idea why; shako at 39% cd with lighting spear cd, i have +8 to conj mastery on my amulet, maybe it's the aspect rolls on my amulet and tal rasha's?
I will say, as someone with suboptimal gear. Even with having a CD of 8 sec on LS, you can still get up to 25 stacks and still have virtually infinite Ult. Especially during boss fights. So far, I'm up to Pit 105 with shit gear.
For these wondering and hoping for the build to work like above, I have Shako, Tal Rasha and Focus with 2 crit CR + Conjuration cooldown x 2 crit and still not enough to rich this level so most of us will never reach this point, unfortunately ... Also I spent billions on resetting lol
I am playing similar build, and i replaced firebolt ench for frozend orb and also not using LS cast 2 but FO cast twice and it is even more op, it is cool to get Winter glass with high cooldown reduction on frozn orb explosion

I reached the brake point of attack speed - 89.8 and I got the cdr to 63% using : Shako - GA cdr = 54.0% Tal'Rasha ring - GA cdr - 19.6% ring2 - GA att. speed = 19.8 FoF - GA att. speed = 21.2 And a Winterglass = GA 0.8 cdr Conjuration My question is : I have a 2 GA Winterglass .. do I upgrade it to 0.7 and 1 upgrade to Mastery ? Is this the BiS setup ?
Hello Rob and thanks alot for the awesome video(s) I need some help. I dont think you ever explained much about the conjurationstacks(or i missed it) You mention them alot though, that you easily will get up to 40-50 and that it is crucial for the build. I cant seem to get more than 10-15 of them and I follow your tips and build almost to the fullest extent(not fully masterworked and very few GA) Unbuffed stats so far: Int 1750 Crit dmg 1500% Critchance 52% Attackspeed 52%(36% on secondary on the esu boots) CDR around 47% LHC 120% 9 points in conjurationmastery Almost 100% on extra lightningspear temper ln my staff Something I missed? I am abit stuck and I would appriciate the help :D
@@Wandeezimo yes it makes sense because crit damage is just the biggest number of additive damage we can teper or roll on gloves or rings, but if it has no unusual scaling, then Int will get more valuable than crit damage at some point.
Sadly the "hold all" doesn't let me do what you shown it did if I keep my click for movement down. Only when I release the left click does it press the spear button again. Weird. I'm not using auto force movement tho, so maybe it's why. Great video BTW! ❤
Hey Rob.Respect for your content first of all, i am.currently playing your Pit Pusher Build , i have all your aspects and same gear but i kinda struggle when i use double handed staff, i ve seen that is more consistent when i use a wand with a focus, splintering on the wand and accelerating aspect on the focus , it is more effective, have u tried it like that, i also spam frozen orb and spear in.the same time using autocast with autohotkey.
Maybe I just missed this bit but how can you reach a CDR of 60 without the Tal ring? Shako with GA and triple Masterworking only gives 54 CDR - missing 6 CDR… don’t get it twisted
Getting a fractured with GA conjuration Mastery and all that other jazz is very low chance. And buying one for 20b gold that you bought of some chinese farmer is not for everyone :D
holding down the button does not work for me, if I move with left click, or use frozen orb, or do anything other than just staying still and holding down one key, the spear does not refresh. Any suggestion?

@rob2628 awesome video - can you just clarify in ‘lame mans’ terms how you get your lightning spear cooldown to 5.1secs - sorry if im missed this (ive watched your video 3 times now) and still can’t get mine below 8.4secs My Fractured Glass is +0.5 conjugation CD / +7 to conjugation mastery / shako got two master rolls on CDR etc Now in saying all of the above, i only started my Sorc yesterday and is now lvl 92 (all glyphs are 15 atm) will making them lvl 21 and upgrading all my gear to 12/12 make a difference? I more or less get got good tempering on all my gear based on your build I’m just a little confused on how to get my cooldown for Lightning spear down to 5sec because currently i cannot hold down lightning constantly as the 8.4 sec CD is making the build not work

Am I just being smooth brained, or did he not address the single most important stat break point, that, you know, makes the build function as shown: cool down reduction%? I have shacko (non GA) with double crit on CDR, and 0.6 on winterglass, and lightning spear is nowhere near spammable. I understand he said around 5 sec on the lightning spear tooltip, but not what % CDR correlates to that number, or how specifically that % is achieved. Any advice? Thanks
Watch the video….. he specifically mentions how important cooldown is to the build, what the cap is 75%, where cooldown is gained Shaco, both rings, and focus if needed. He mentions the most important stat on winter glass is the cooldown reduction from frozen orbs. You literally didn’t watch the video 😂
made a sorc alt to get my 4th resplendent spark and lightning spear looked fun. So im in the process of transitioning from firewall. i think by the time i get close to it being "workable" ill have the spark already lol.

So the only way to be "CD capped" is with a Shako CD GA? [I have nice rolls on my rings - CD LS - hit them 3 times each] and have my Shako 3 times CD and still i dont see those 5.11seconds any closer...
I've been spending my life trying to get lightning spear to spam and it feels impossible, I've given up and I'm using goldfarmingGuide build, it's lightning spear/ orb hybrid, at least I can spam. I've literally spend hours changing my build to lightning spear and sitting there not being able to spam every time
Same here, tripple crit on CDR on Shako (not GA), triple crit on CDR on TalRasha(16.5), and 16% LS CDR on my other ring and I’m still at 7.13 LS. No idea how he shaves off a full 2 more seconds, eben with the extra 10% shako CDR….
Found a 2GA winterglass today. One of them was the non phys ga, the other conjuration mastery. Unfortunately the conjuration cooldown was only 0.2… so sad.
So you basically need ga on shako cdr, then orange it. And ga on conj cdr on winterglass, with yellow or orange. That's not gonna be possible for 99.99 of players. Try and get close. Orange on both, and might be able to push 140 pit
Exactly this, I like Rob's video's but the builds are out of reach for nearly all players. In order to get that Shako with GA on cooldown, he went through a screens worth of mythics. Then, you still need to do triple masterwork on CDR, which unless you are incredibly lucky, means farming the infernal hordes non stop, just to get the mats to do this. One thing that isn't clear is what CDR is needed to be worth going for the Attack speed breakpoints as he doesn't mention this. If you need the afore mentioned GA'ed triple master Shako, then .... I give up
I've got a Shako with 3MW Cdr, a Focus with GA Cdr and 2x MW and 2 Rings with 1x MW each, i think, and reach 5,16 seconds for the lightning spear. It's possible. Each run H8 i get about 650 - 1000 legendary MW stones. It doesnt take so much time. If i woul find a Shako with GA auf Cdr i could try the two handed weapon.
Why are the numbers on your splintering aspect higher than mine? I have 16 out of sixteen on a two handed staff same as you but mine is maxed out at 3868 yours is 4853????
Yeah, Rob.. Finally my Sorc is booming, my cool-downs on my lightning spear come back so fast.. I have 55% cool-down 1350 Crit damage 54% Crit chance 100% Lucky hit Still far from perfect, but it’s going very well.. Since I’m only a casual gamer Loving the Sorc this season Working on my Andariels Barrage as well
@@simeonlp You need to have at least 4 reduce cool-down on you’re fractured winter glass and have lightning spear cool-down on your rings and double crit at least one, also triple Crit cool-down on Shako and at least 110 % chance to cast twice on lightning spear
Still can't spam lightning spear, I have over 50% CDR, Winterglass conjuration 0.6 , have Shako, Tyriels, followed Shockunas build exactly, paragon glyfs all maxed (21)
@@christopherbrauer2976 if you hold skill only it will cast it if there is a target where your cursor is. If you also hold shift it will spam it regardless of target.
@@aunahsan1465 People mean how do you get the cooldown on Lightning Spear to BE SPAMMABLE. Rob is just hitting lightning spear cuz his refreshes so fast. I'm at 54% cdr and still cant spam lightning spear like he can cuz of the cooldown. I gotta dump out multiple frozen orbs and I'm not getting a lot of conjures up.
Why are the Lightning Spear Cooldown Reduction not additive to all the other Cooldown Reduction affixes? I should have 71% total reduction for Lightning Spear but in reality it is only being reduced by about 57%. The Lightning Spear Cooldown is being applied after the other Cooldown affixes so it is reducing the reduced amount by so much and not combined so it reduces all at once.

Slightly different build than this just have everything on auto click on my keyboard. Play one handed never die slightly slower ttk bosses but I can watch RU-vid whilst farming and don’t even pay attention. Top tier farming build
I have a Chaco and a pretty good winterglass but I feel like I’m still an away from the breakpoint without the greater affixes on the cooldowns. Can you get to 60 without them?
