Instead of showing overlay, hold down alt when you're doing slider and it's easier to see what's being edited. White is what will be edited and black will be left alone. Awesome video! Just another tip.
I also used a brush tool to mask the different things and It's take too much times but this method is time saver. Thank you for this useful tip. It's totally blow my mind.
My jaw legitimately dropped as you adjusted the 2 filters on the first image before you even put the radial filter on the car itself. I've been editing most of my pictures on my iPad Pro but this is about to have me edit on my PC a whole lot more. Phenomenal video!

A small trick that i like to use ist to take a radial filter and put it over the car. Then I'm rising a clarity a little bit. This will make the subject pop a bit more.
Hey man! Thanks for sharing this, I’ve seen a lot of people use clarity in their car photography, but for me personally I like a little less clarity and use sharpening masks to make my cars stand out and stay soft. 👌🏼
I actually do only landscapes, but watched this and literally sat in front of the screen like this 😧 This completely turns everything upside-down what I knew about Lightroom so far. 👍 But one question comes up: What is the advantage of the first technique in comparison to the classical edit with lights and shadows? Aren't the results the same?
Haven't done that with the graduated filter, but I used the radial filter over the entire image to achieve the same results, but the trick with the graduated filter is pretty neat. I have been using the range masks so much since they came to Lightroom, absolute game changer.

I've been using graduated filters to darken the sky and foreground, I've never thought to use horizontal gradual filters to change the highlights and shadows, awesome tip!
Love how your videos are so jam packed with info! Love it! Especially the new way of color grading. That range mask trick is blowing my mind lmao that's crazy, that's like a 4 step process in Photoshop, this is definately accurate enough for IG etc
Haha! Crazy right?! So much more simple in LR than photoshop. Still lots that photoshop can do that Lightroom sucks at but this is a really quick way to make specific edits. I love it!
In your last video, you showed a bit on the graduated filter to darken the road and guide the viewer to your subject and holy cow, I’ve seen a huge difference in some of my before photos I’ve edited!
