Thank you so much for this content! Super helpful!! What lens do you usually use for your newborn sessions and what settings were most of these taken on (as far as aperture, ISO, and shutter speed)?
Hey McKenzie! I shoot with my 50mm 1.2 most of the time. In general my settings are at around 2.5 aperture, no less than 250 shutter speed and then ISO will vary the most depending on available lighy
Hi Bailey, can you recommend some online Lightroom learning course please? I’m a nut and would like to learn from the very basic first step. Thanks alot
It varies session to session. Generally milestone sessions are around 30-45 minutes, families are around an hour, and newborns can be around 90 minutes. A lot of different factors goes into play when it comes to those two things- that is why i do have have times listed on my collections. more siblings means more photos, fussy toddlers may mean a smaller gallery, etc. Sorry that isn't super specific, but it is really a case by case basis. I do guarantee a minimum number of images for my clients and always overdeliver
@@HelloJudePhotographyDo you give them for example 15 edited picture and what do you do with the rest? Some photographers give originals as well, some don't. I'm really interested to know your opinion) Do you shoot only in raw or raw+jpeg?
@@valentinmelnik7590 I do things a little differently than other photographer. I deliver everything that is worth delivering. I cull duplicates/ similar images , blurry, eyes closed, etc. but everything else I deliver in the gallery. I do not deliver unedited images though. Just like an artist wouldn't deliver a sketch, I truly believe the best part of what I have to offer is the art I can create through editing. I only shoot in RAW as well.
When you are comparing the images during your culling how are you deleted the image you don't want? I always have to right click and select delete to remove the files.
Hmm. What version of Lightroom are you running? I used my N shortcut today and it worked no problem. You have to be in develop mode to compare with it though!
