I DO NOT OWN THIS VIDEO. ORIGINAL: www.on-airstreaming.com/videos... and • Video LIGHTS performs her acoustic version of February Air for www.on-airstreaming.com
A lot of people say LIGHTS us just an autotune singer, and she wouldn't sound good without it. But we know it isn't true because she does things like this. She plays a song with just her voice and a guitar and it sounds amazing still, and sometimes even better. LIGHTS always says that she makes a song so it sounds just as good when you strip away all the synths and the beats. I have never heard a song she has written that I didn't like or that sounded badly. She never fails to amaze me.
She sings/preforms uniquely every time. I love that about her, this shows in all her acoustic songs. Lights Please do more acoustic! I love your voice.
i cant belive this Lights your amazing you just keep getting better every time i hear you its amazing you sound better every day your my hero ... and you better come back to vancouver or a least the west coast or iam going to cry
Why can't I click on a LIGHTS video without hearing about Justin Bieber and how jealous the US is that Canada has LIGHTS? Like this is the one and only beautiful LIGHTS. Not all Americans like Nicki Minaj and Taylor Swift so let's just enjoy this beautiful and talented artist.
Brings back so much memories... There were so much deaths in my family that year. she made me strong. Stronger than i thought i could get that year. Thank LIGHTS :)
Not quite sure why people ever thought she was an autotune singer. She used autotune JUST on the verses of Saviour, which barely had more than one note to begin with. It wasn't on the chorus's which is where she actually changed notes, and is to this day my favorite song of all time.
When recording acoustic guitar you actually use 2 mics to pick up the ambient sound of the guitar in the room too. You put one (dynamic) mic at the 12th fret of the guitar, and then one a bit further away, usually a condenser microphone to pick up the sound reflecting around the room. Hope that answers your question.
@steveninmusic Sorry, I really have no idea :( You could try going to the original video on youtube (second link in the info box) and ask them there, but I don't know if they'll answer.
just want to know what gear (mics, pres, etc) was used in recording this, sounds so good obviously a skilled musician, a taylor guitar, bluebird mic... dont know the other mic or whatever else gear was used let me know!
