Hello there love your channel i am restoring a series 2a as well have you ever thought of putting disco 1 axles on one i am doing mine like that you get a kit from YRM to convert the axles to springs and you have disc brakes and can use a defender gear box just a idea on it
@@livingoffgridinscotland yes its £36 per axle so £70 for both axles theres a guy on youtube that does it hands on is his name you have to cut all the coil spring brackets off and weld on the new YRM brackets to the discovey 1 axles there is also a site on if you goggle nicks landrover that shows how its done
It’s the 200tdi I’m fitting, but probably going to fit a 300tdi manifold and turbo so it clears the chassis better. What steering column did you use to mate to the p38 box?
