Lightyear: Individual Food Module 

Did you notice right by the breakfast food there’s brunch in there

Now I'm craving for space food all of sudden. Pixar always makes CG animated food of all kinds look so appetizing

I know they probably wanted to make the food look sad and bland but it genuinely looks good. The meat is pretty much just spam, the other stuff I can imagine being sort of like tofu but made out of various vegetables

“That would compromise my nutritional regiment.” *Takes one bite of the meat and leaves the rest of the meal on the side*

0:11-0:13 Those portions in the “DINNER” individual food module look really delicious, to be honest. 😋 I’m betting the top right one is supposed to be made from potatoes, then the top left one is either spinach or salad, and the bigger one on the bottom is produced from steak meat. Man, my stomach’s saying to me, “I can see the future of space food, now!”

I hate how he only takes one bite then just LEAVES it, and doesn't finish the rest of the Meal.

I like how sox just takes a moment to stare at it as if he is contemplating if he can eat it.

Honestly, this film had some great moments, and excellent world-building. It was the plot that was the problem.

That makes the food cubes from Old Star Trek look good.

Why does every time I watch this scene, it’s weirdly satisfying to see the meal being cooked from one tiny BOOM and then dinner time… But also makes me hungry I’m ready for the future of food, even if we drink it like in Wall-E. (which could be a possibility)

Am I the only one who wants to try that ham looking block thing? 😂

My friend and I were watching and she commented on the instant meals on how she wished they were real now because it would make grocery shopping so much easier. Especially if they had multiple options instead of simply saying breakfast, lunch, or dinner.

It's like TV dinner and astronaut food put together. My dad thought it looked gross but I'd give it a try.

That’s kind of interesting. You have to like bend it and it will just automatically explode in cook itself. It’s pretty cool. I like that.

No one seems to think about how this work like a Glow Stick?, he cracks the box, shakes it and then PUF! just like popcorns, how would something like that work? probably when the box is cracked it lets out some kind of chemicals and when you shake the box it reacts making it explode and rehydrates the food inside.

I actually found this part funny. Buzz is eating astronaut food and calls it his nutritional regimen yet it’s disgusting. I find the scene where Buzz eats the sandwich funny because he hasn’t eaten real food in a long time. Still I didn’t hate Lightyear but it’s not the greatest.

That is so cool I wanna try that. The convenience is absolutely fantastic.

Can't believe the movie went from Food Modules, to inverted sandwiches. What a downgrade from present to future.

Honestly, it’s not a bad movie, I think it’s just trying to be accurate to the cliches of movies back then, hence the bad twist.
