As a progressive non-American, the mindset of many progressives i see on here just blows my mind. One example is the guest who says “we are seeing a systemised attack on the role of law / this is really scary / he’s running as a straight up authoritarian / people aren’t turned in”, but also says “I try not to use the word panic, because it makes my parents super scared”. If you are fighting to retain democracy, there is a reason to be scared. You NEED people to be scared, else you will see apathy and low turnout.
