THANKS TO A USER, I HAVE DISCOVERED AND FIXED A BUG THAT MAKE RUNNING MOVE LIKE RECKLESS CHARGE DOESN'T WORK. PLEASE DOWNLOAD THE NEWEST VERSION OF THE MOD. SORRY FOR THE TROUBLE. www.nexusmods.com/likeadragoninfinitewealth/mods/222 Previously, I was making progress on the Coliseum expansion mod for Gaiden. However, I messed up and lost most of my progress. Feeling burnt out, I decided to stop by IW a bit. Now that this project is over, I shall return to Gaiden. General Combat Change mod is just something I do to make the already good combat system fit my vision better. For the full list of thing I change and add, please watch the demo video. This is not an overhaul or something of the sort, as the change I made doesn't even cover half the job system the game bring. The mod will also tip the scale of balance into your favor, so you shouldn't use it on your first playthrough. I already playtest the mod and most attack I added does allow to team up link with teammate. If you found any problem (move miss too much, any move that get mess up), please let me know and I will try to fix it immediately. Also, feel free to comment about any suggestion. Thing I've done, but forgot to mention in the vid: - Knockout combo doesn't kill until the last hit, making that move more viable to knockback/team up - Remove the "Snap to target" property of Dragon Resurgence, helping it more controllable - LLLH combo launcher Install with Ryu Mod Manager/ Shin Ryu Mod Manager. Credit to Jhrino for Authedit, Jadus for teaching me how to use authedit, Onoffy for teaching me how to use blender, Spurge for teaching me how to link Center_c_n.

The changes to Dragon Resurgence are so good on their own, they'd be great as a standalone mod.

This is the mod I was asking for, thank you so much. I love the games combat but it felt like it just needed exactly these tweaks while also adding back cut stuff from 7. Great work dude keep it up! Also I would probably only change the MP cost on Head Trauma but like you said, it's designed to be OP and I like that.

This is one of IW mods i”ve seen that actually only have general changes(it kept things mostly the same and not add any major changes while adding stuff from LAD7 back or added his own things).Things like old far range attack becomes the new far range attack for awakened kiryu(i feel like rgg should have done that) and the beat part is that it changes other characters too nice!!!!!! (Also P.S Jawbone Clutch could work well with combo uppercut but thats my opinion keep doing mods man!!!!)

You mean I should have use "Jawbone Clutch" as the name? Well, it certainly does sound nice, it just that Combo Uppercut is the name Kiryu use in the Sujimon battle minigame, so I just copy and paste for the sake of continuity

Amanzing work, it really makes the combat feel much better. For Kiryu I'd only wish that he had a skill with Komaki Hellstorm animation

Apparently the best mod with those details and depth are just amazing in turn based IW! I just wonder where did you find the tutorial for this project? I went into the modding community discord but I couldn’t follow the guide as the google doc include everything, from old engine to new engine, and I still couldn’t find the tutorial exclude to IW or even Y7 LAD, as I want to localize some mods and make them compatible to different lanaguages.

14:04 What are you talking about that Taxi is fucking AMAZING! Fits perfectly with the way the games combat is alongside everything else. Question too ya didn't do anything for Ichi's Sujimancer job I'm guessing it was impossible or ya didn't feel like it needed any changes?

@@LThanhHao232 I actually doubt that anyone would go the lengths to change the entire movesets of characters. I think this makes it much more fun. I mean come on, Tomizawa drives some over WITH A CAR. WHY DIDN'T ANYONE ELSE THINK OF THAT XD

Still sucks tho, considering that it would be neat if every playable character has a unique Heat aura (Cyan for Ichi, Red for Kiryu, Violet for Tomi, Green for Nanba, Brown for Chitose, Black for Seonhee, Blue for Adachi, White for Saeko, Silver for Joongi, and Yellow for Zhao). We can even give Kiryu a complementary color should he use regular attacks (Azure for Brawler, Pink for Rush, and Orange for Beast).

i feel like instead of it just being tiger drop, Kiryu's perfect guard counter can have three versions like Komaki parry and Komaki knockback as well kinda like how it was in 7 when he entered DoD style

Great mod but can you add an optional change to revert dragons resurgence to its normal time? Kinda too long and changes the balance system a lil bit too much

When you plan to attack the enemy but the enemy that you pass against Will stop you from doing that like example you wanna target far low hp enemy but the enemy besides you stops you they have their varient animation you take dmg This is to tell player to move

As far as I know, there is no way to make gunshot type attack ignore guard. There can be a guarantee hit attribute, and I do give that attack that aspect

Head Trauma, while awesome, I feel like you might need to decrease the damage by quite a bit. That's the whole reason it got removed

nah man, that the fun part. Plus, seriously speaking, Han Joon-gi need to be a little OP because when he introduce, he very underlevel compare to the squad. I need to find a way to entice people using him

@@LThanhHao232You see, what I presume Head Trauma would be is a Heavy Grapple that costs 30+ or 40+ MP. There is a reason why it is removed, and no legendary status can deny this very fact.

@@LThanhHao232 True on that part, but why not make it a later skill tree reward? Joongi still has a couple levels to go when you grab him so unlocking the big buster move at like Lvl 27 would make it more legendary. I also second the other commenters idea of increasing SP value to maybe 35-40 or so, you can even add a compromise of allowing the skill an innate chance of stun.
