When Simon said "What if it's the last day on earth for you, or someone you love?" I knew it was gonna be bad. I was ready for Glenn. But I didn't know they'd take him out with Abraham.
The only one that I guessed was Abraham. I was thinking about the cliffhanger and the only one that I could see taking the first hit and gaining neagans "respect" was Abraham because of his size and will. I definitely ruled out Glenn and a few others because I was too attached to them to believe that they would go out like that. They really wanted us to hate neagan by taking out such a legend.
@@ChrisAssassin I would have stopped watching if they hadn't k***ed Glenn, bc it was written in the comics that way. I loved his character and I love the actor. Most people go crazy for Daryl or Rick but I loved Glenn and Tyrese the most. Yeah I love Rick and Daryl but Glenn showed alot of growth in the time he was in the show. I knew Abraham was first bc I did the eeny meeny miny moe on a picture of them lined up. But yeah as horrible as it was, I prefer when shows and movies stick to the book. I know they can't be exactly the same but hopefully you get what I mean lol (I rambled a bit)
@@curleysioux5612 I do understand in a way but I do prefer that the show is based on the comics but not a carbon copy of it. I still like to be surprised and I do like creative spins. Comics are cool for my imagination but shows are good for showing what people can do once they are given a world and a collection of incredible characters. It's the only thing that kept me into the show for so long even though I fell off after Carl was killed off (just before neagans redemption actually)
@@ChrisAssassin that's when I stopped watching. Chandler Riggs brought that character to life and he was too old to continue playing Carl. And he wanted to focus on school and it's all understandable but that twist in the show really turned me off of that show and it's one of my faves. People get me The Walking Dead merch for gifts lol
See, this is how you have a badass moment. He doesnt start some long winded rant or the cheesy "do you?" He answers his question. He starts Rick's downfall with a simple "no". Perfect example of how to defuse a situation but still keep composure. It shows he clearly doesnt underestimate Rick, if he runs his mouth and says "well yes i do" he knows Rick will kill him. It shows Rick is really under estimating his opponents because hes always made it through.
Exactly we were so used to the "good guys" winning so it was a big twist and set up plus the mystery around negan and the saviors was gr8 plus it helped during the hiatus for build up great timing and writing ✍️ indeed
I honestly felt like this was the last honest badass exchange. No quippy one liners, or over the top acting, just two men having a discussion. Read on paper it sounds like they're friends both lamenting a loss unknown to the other. Simon wasn't even pissed at Ricks group, he was being genuine with him here because he knew the horrors that awaited him later that night
Can't believe so many people left the audience over Glenn's death, Steven actually wanted that to happen he wanted that iconic moment to be on the show. There were talks of not killing him and he said no it's too important. Saddest thing is how they made Negan even worse on the show so they had to kill Carl just to have a realistic reason Rick would let Negan live. Shit they could've put Carl in a coma or something and before he went under he says don't kill him dad then they could've brought Carl back later on. That's my only complaint they killed Carl to save Negan which led to Rick leaving the show. Still glad with negans evolution. Now how bout these evolving walkers?! Thoughts?

He asked the show runners for advice in buying a house in Georgia &: starting college in GA and they told him to for it he'd be around in the show he was safe then bam killed him off just so it would make sense for Rick to keep Negan alive by it being Carl's dying wish etc etc. They could've done this differently by putting Carl in a temporary coma or something. They made tv Negan far worse than comic version on killing ricks people so there was no way Rick would spare him without Carl's dying wish being so
This scene really brought back some shit for me. The cars showing up on every road they went down. The way they got bigger and stronger with more numbers on each road. It just got me on the inside. It was a scary scene.
season 7 was definitely one of the best seasons in TWD! ive been a fan since the show first aired and i can say it has definitely been the best Z show in history

Hindsight is always 20/20 The foreshadowing of what's about to come is screaming in our faces. This was one of my favorite episodes. Even though it left us on a cliffhanger many were pissed about
One of my all time favourite Walking Dead scenes, I really loved how you could feel the tension in the air between both groups, like someone was about to take action, yet not a single bullet was fired, they talked to each other in a civil manner. Simon was amazing, Steven Ogg nailed the role 👏👏👏
Looking back I realize that this where Rick Innitially lost. The Saviors made it clear they respected him as a threat whereas he completly underestimated them
When the music first started I thought someone was going to tuck it and start dancing with someone else's skin over them and when did Trevor ever get out of the city to the zombieland?
I miss the old school branding the saviors had in both transportation and attire. Would've made the apocalypse more bearable than that godforsaken RV they kept forcing a long the road.
