Actually, police officers are IN EFFECT a law unto themselves. There is and if you took the time to read the Constitution you would know. Presidents, SC Justices and all appointed Federal Judges have to be impeached in the House then removed by the Senate.

In reality they are the same as the Supreme Court. The House can impeach the President a justice and a federal judge. Then the Senate has to vote to remove. All 3 are about the same. That is the way our Founding Fathers set America up. It has been working for going on 248 years. If a majority of Americans in a majority of States what to amend the Constitution then it will happen. But there is no majority of Americans in a Majority of States that want to. So there is no support in Congress to amend the Constitution. In America the 2 things that effect all of the Citizens Electing the President and Amending the Constitution is done in a State by State way.

It's not delay, it's sitting in her hands and looking away from treason.

The SCOTUS job is not to add or take away rights. And when they do they cam be overturned by a Future Court. Now I doubt that they will rule that Presidents have Absolute Immunity. What they will do is anyone's guess. In Dobbs I know they would overrule Row since it was bad law. I had thought they would add some kind of exceptions. Well they decided that since the Constitution is Silent on Abortion it falls under the 10th Amendment. Now each of the 50 Independent States will enact Laws that the Citizens in each State want. And just like the Death Penalty the laws will be adjusted.

As for oversight.There is a mechanism for that In the Constitution. The House can impeach a Justice or a Federal Judge.
