So we are back and with the NBA Playoffs going down at the moment we definitely wanted to take a look at a Basketball Film. So this is from 2002! Starring Lil Bow Wow. This is LIKE MIKE. Fourteen year old, hoops-loving Calvin Cambridge (Lil' Bow Wow) has a dream: to be a famous basketball player -- to mix it up among the NBA's greatest. But in a game dominated by giants with unparalleled athletic abilities, Calvin's diminutive stature and limited skills, make this a far-off fantasy. Or is it? After he laces up a mysterious pair of old sneakers inscribed with the faded initials MJ, Calvin makes the leap from playground hijinks to NBA superstardom...

My younger brother was 7 years old. My second cousin was 7 years old. My nephew was 10 years old. My Dad was 45 years old. And I was 25 years old when we first saw this movie Like Mike. It was such a good movie for real. To this day I still like this movie Like Mike and it is still a great and fun movie for real man.

This is my favorite movie from my childhood. I don't watch the NBA anymore nowadays but when I was a kid, I loved the NBA and was a Lil Bow Wow fan.

This is such a good movie. The very first time that I saw this movie was when it came out in theaters when I saw it with my younger brother my younger second cousin, my nephew and my Dad. It was 21 1/2 years ago in theaters.

The Basketball song reminded me that Bow wow is on a Baseball song from the soundtrack of a movie called Hardball ! It’s a Keanu Reeves movie where his character becomes a Baseball coach in the Chicago projects, a young Michael B. Jordan is in it as well !! Y’all gotta react to it 🙏🏼

Remember seeing this on VHS on elementary school 3rd grade then watched in on Hbo every other day when I was 10 during summer thought the second one was ok

I remember when I was a kid I could not wait to see this movie I seen it on bootleg VHS also if you can there's another basketball movie I like called the sixth man with Marlon wayans
