Comic songs were very popular with the record buying public in the nineteen twenties & thirties & in particular Columbia’s budget label Regal always listed many such recordings & here’s a great example by the comedian Fred Walmsley singing “Like The Big Pot’s Do” , which is playing on my green HMV102 portable gramophone.
