I came here cuz I was looking for vegan Brazilian limeade... All of your recipes are amazing. I was feeling restricted by my diet but this gives me hope again. Thank you so much!
I've just made the batter and put itin the freezer. I used about two teaspoons of vanilla extract sinyI had no beans. I'm looking forward to trying it!
That's all great stuff you have in there. I'll have to try it to see how it tastes. I use dates and nut butters all the time in my Ninja Creami with great results (and I am a big fan of chickpeas). I think other neutral flavored beans might work equally well although I shall have to be careful it doesn't taste too salty. When I use dates, I get a rather caramely flavored result.

Sure you can. I change up nut and seed butters all the time in recipes. Try tahini, my most favorite, or sunflower, or whatever neutral tasting plant butter seems good to you.
Success! It didn't hard freeze so it was easily scooped. I used medjool dates and I think they were larger than the ones used in the video, so mine came out looking (and tasting) more like caramel ice cream than a basic vanilla. I'm not complaining. It's definitely a great base for any number of additional items.
