Sir, 1:13:34 in (c) "ordering" ignored? in this question balls are ordered so isn't that an dependent event?

Yes please, the tutor used combination so that is how it will be. For question A, you can solve it by saying 6/15 x 5/14 x 4/13 and you will get the same answer the tutor got using combination. Hope we have answered your question and hope you get it? Thank you. Feel free to ask more questions.

Simply, for independent events we have two events derived from two different trials (two different events like tossing coin and rolling a dice, tossing two coins). Therefore, probability of occurrence of one does not affect the probability of occurrence of other. In case of mutually exclusive events, we have also two events (may be more than two) but difference is that the events derived from the same trial (in rolling a dice, facing even numbers & odd numbers are mutually exclusive).

I don't really get you please. 5 factorial means 5x4x3x2x1 7 factorial means 7x6x5x4x3x2x1 Hope this helps

In a question like the one used in computing the question 21, no need to do that. Also, it’s not always that you multiply P(A) and P(B) to get P(AnB). That’s only used for independent events when you are solving probability question.
