Katy is actually pretty strong in her rematch battles. She actually is told to hold back in games cuz her gym is so close to the academy so first time trainers always start there.

Dark/Bug with priority Tinted Lens, Lokix is awesome. Only shame is that it only has a bst of 450 I guess gamefreak is fine with tons of broken ghost, dark and steel mons this gen but can't stomach the idea of another bug in OU or Ubers.

It's ironic that in the anime, Rika's Clodsire is a calculated sniper and Katy is more strategic, while in the games, Rika's Clodsire is a stone wall and Katy is the only Gym Leader that can be stunlocked.

Don't only I like that Liko loses everytime even she has an evolved floragato, while Roy once won even he has just fuecoco? At least this loss logical: At first, Clodsire has poison type moves, which have double damage against grass type. At second, Clodside used at final fire type move, which also has double damage against grass type pokemon.

@@stormychaser3015 I say how I feel mostly because Ash was Pokémon for me and it just isn’t the same, I mean yes he became the world champion but did we ever really learn what a Pokémon Master meant for Ash? He still had so much growth, like if he was in SV he could either be a mentor figure or could be trying to find out what a Pokémon Master means to him and find himself. So yes I will comment on videos like these because I have a right to do so!

@@AlexSteel-o9s I believe that being a "Pokémon Master" would be being the best trainer, like no one has ever been. Like catch all the Pokemons and be the strongest. Unfortunately the writers threw the "gotta catch'em all!" part in the trash and made Ash just wanting to be stronger, losting interest in catching new pokemon. Journeys would have been an excellent send-off if he caught a lot more Pokémon there and became champion, but they wasted that chance. I understand that he was part of many people's childhoods, but it's not fair that so many people reject the new series just because he's not the main character. Horizons has good battles (not all), charismatic characters, a consistent story (which it didn't have in many of Ash's gens) and the development of the protagonists as trainers is notable. It's just sad to see people everywhere criticizing the new series simply for not having Ash, and as someone who grew up watching the anime, it makes me very sad because it ruins the character for other people.

@@stormychaser3015 yeah I understand that but it just does not feel the same without Ash 😭 Also yeah I think it would of been cool if Ash caught more Pokémon, one of the themes for each season was that Ash caught at least one of the starter trio, he had the least in Hoenn with just treeko, but they gave all those Pokémon to Goh and allowed him to catch a legendary! I mean come on Ash has encountered every legendary under the sun and has not one, I mean at least give him that Latias from the movie. Also, I don’t want to start a rant, I understand why people dislike Goh since he was handed a lot of things has a ton of Pokémon but leaves most in his PC box…… I mean that is like us players but this is supposed to be a real life world and apart from really bad trainers who treat their Pokémon like crud most trainers treat their Pokémon like family, so Goh acting like that does not make sense

@@AlexSteel-o9s Yes, I liked Goh at first, but over the course of the anime I stopped liking him because he captures so many pokémon so easily. I swear I came to believe that he had a stack of red-painted master ball to catch these pokemon. I thought it was ridiculous that he captured a legendary so easily when Ash in several journeys battled against and helped a lot of legendaries and never got to capture even a weak one, like Phione. Latias would have been great. I really hoped that Ash would catch a lot more pokemon on journeys, but I ended up disappointed.

Though in honesty I feel like Rika misplayed when she chose to Tera her Clodsire into ground, especially the fact that Riko is using a grass type and Tera grass. By going Tera ground she basically lost her poison typing which help her Clodsire resists grasstype type damage. But after Tera ground, grass types becomes super effective. Further more Riko is using tera grass. Making grass type do more damage. Thank god it’s an anime or else in the games, Rika’s Clodsire would’ve been easily KO. 😂

She’s not “Weak” Rika is literally an elite four member. Liko isn’t even close to that power level yet but that doesn’t mean she’s weak she just has more developing to do.

In all Pokemon series pokemon horizon is the peak u hate pokemon horizon because the protagonist is a girl and if amethio is become the protagonist all Pokemon fan is like holy f*** a cool guy with a super cool pokemon(remember alain become protagonist in Pokemon act 1-3 and all Pokemon fan like him without ash in the scene)
