Evan97 no he just started really poppin this year, numbers speak for themselves. yes he started gaining some fame a while ago but 2020 is the year he really started coming uo
That's what I told my uncle yesterday I'm biracial and he always is being racist towards black people and said this young generation is stupid... like we're stupid cuz we arent allowing mfs to be racist and homophobic..?
I’m not halfway through and this is the epitome of fire... clear and concise dope ass message, dope ass flow, dope ass lyrical structure and rhyming... the first time I heard black lives matter all I thought was “duh, all life matters”. Then it was explained to me. It only took the one explanation. A lot of people refuse to understand, or play like they don’t understand... that’s the problem. But this isn’t a song... it’s an anthem.
@@kareensimmons7390 it bigger than that broski. Kids getting expelled and suspended at higher rates in poor nieghborhoods, they are just abandoned, forgotten about. Fuck the cops, they just the enforcers of the broken system
I come back to this video every few months. This is when a lot of people learned Baby was more lyrical than many thought. A lot of people knew his music was dope but this shit hit different.
As soon as I heard this, CHILLS!!!!🔥🔥 LIL BABY ON IT!! THIS IS THE ONLY SONG I'M LISTENING TO, PERIOD!❤️💯 Even if u don't listen to rap, LISTEN TO THIS! 💯💯
As a white male I will never know what you guys have to go trough but I support you because YOU MATTER NO LESS THAN ME Or ANYONE ELSE.And to everyone hurting you are loved and you matter stay strong ❤️❤️
As a person who loves lyricism more than anything ive been on lil baby, turn up or not he always says something in a song thats real asf word on the street, this week, emotionally scared. Regardless of subject he is the best of the new era no doubt
All the way from South Africa, i can relate. This is some serious conscious rap! Amandla (power to the people).

its satisfying to see a non-lil baby fan realize that this song was fire. he spoke facts through the whole song. if it was 10 mins long i would still watch the music video.
Baby is so hard, versatile as hell. He just be putting up the shit that he put's up cause that's what most people consume, but when it's time fa bars baby never disappoints🔥 him & polo g are really goats
The “take a stand” part, he was definitely referring to his previous bar when he said that some things he can’t say cause they’ll get him but there are other people (more powerful black figures) who can but he won’t take the stand and “snitch” by name dropping on who those people who can are but he’ll still stand for what he believes
This was 🔥! It was all facts! I am a white guy with a mixed daughter, she is amazing and beautiful. You right Stevie, it’s “Us” against the racists. And I am sick of racism. If you are racist, go ahead and back up out of my life. I and we don’t need that in our lives ANYMORE! (I was raised in a racist family, I chose to change)
You missed a main message he said when he’s saying that he can’t say some shit because they’ll come and get him so he won’t take a stand but he will take a stand. It’s bigger than racism what’s going on right now. The whole government is trying to turn us on each other and we need to all work together to change that. Lil baby always been a goat but this shit is him talking and saying shit not many are saying. It’s bigger than black and white man we gotta see that.
Absolutely amazing track! 🔥..... I'm not usually into artists that heavily use autotune but at least he is actually saying something and as soon as we heard this the other day...... Both me and my son absolutely loved this one! ♥ Thanks for the reaction & a big shout out from London 👋 x
When you said that cops aren't comfortable and familiar with inner-city type environments, it really struck home. I am currently a cop, but before that I started out in corrections. I have worked in my county's juvenile detention center, as well as the county jail as a corrections Deputy. I learned how inner-city kids grow up, the environments they're born in to, I learned what life is like on the streets for kids as well as adults, and in an environment like a jail... the single most important thing I learned was how to talk to people of all races, religions, and cultures. Learning how to talk to people has taken me far in my career. I have never had an excessive force complaint, and honestly I've never really had much of a problem out of anyone (minus the people tweaking, you really can't talk to them lol). I think community relations is the biggest problem police face today, and it stems a lot from officers not being aware of where they are, who they're talking to, and what they might've been through. I think departments should put a lot more focus in training and culturalization. I think that a lot of them have forgotten that we are police FOR the community, not against it. I support BLM and I support my brothers and sisters in blue.
This is BY FAR the best reaction to this song....New fan for sure...I love how you had the same ideas I had about Lil Baby in the video before hand and by the end you came around...THATS EXACTLY WHAT I DID! ANd you took time and got all the good bars
Really glad you reacted to this, amazing song and message. You should also react to more Lupe Fiasco. "Mural" is an amazing one if you're looking for pure bars. "Hiphop saved my life" "Hurt my Soul" "King Nas" and "Wav Files" are all amazing songs as well. You'd love them all.
This song still gets me.. this song is not just baby up on here making a video this has way more meaning than just a rapper spittin bars. You gotta pull back the layers to the meaning of his words and really appreciate what he's saying 🙏💪🏻❤️ great video as always SK much respect.
Lets talk about it. Covid-19 cases are still here and have gone up in certain areas, just because youre not hearing about it on the fore front doesnt mean its not being reported. Literally ask anyone working in the medical field if Covid is still a huge issue
Man Im From Texas And A White Man but Been Crippin Since Day One Hoova Groovin till da world stop movin man this song right here really tells it all. I done seen both sides the table done went to prison hell just got out in April and dead serious this shit right here touches my soul in a way i can't explain.
Now that the gyms are closed i havent been putting too much time in my workout sessions, but after seeing your physique i started hitting pushups right after the video.
Nothing but the truth on all the major topic of today, this young man is going to reach and change a lot of people's hearts with this song.. Keep up the good work Lil baby
I watched this video & then started watching reaction videos. You are the only one to point out the significance of him showing what media is putting out there vs what is actually happening during the protests... this song is so fucking powerful, man.
