Yup, thats definitely memphis jookin! I find it incredible that all these ill dances that pop around the world come from Afro American nighborhoods in the US where were looked down upon for the most part. It all started with Bboying from The Bronx NY. We got got folks all around the world doing dances that started in our apartment hallways and school playgrounds now. It comes to show that music and expression breaks boundaries better than any law or peace treaty can.
Wow!! Loved it..loved it...did I mention that I loved it!! Buck is amazing and I don't understand how in the hell he does those toe spins...oh GOD given talent that's how!!
Jookin and Turfin work really well together! Seeing him go back and forth from one to the other was great. He flows really well. He, just like Ladia Yates, are both really great at that. They boy represent Memphis and California both to a degree and when you see the two styles merge, you end up with some of the best dance routines out there! it's like the ultimate dance style out there is Joofin or Turkin or however you want to name it, haha.
so so good ! Used to watch a lot of his videos filmed in america. smashed it . love the filmage. cant believe that dude sat on the train wasnt watchin lol
What people are missing in this video is the fact that he's doing all this on a moving train. Do you know how fuckin hard it would be to dance like that on a moving train? Trying to keep your balance and be fuckin amazing all at the same time? Lil Buck is too underrated..
A year later and this is turning up on my post on Facebook, all I can say is Im gonna look for more from you as you have got my attention. Well done for those clean clean moves snd keepin' it real. Respect, Youngblood
@deadboy164 his dance style is named so ....he's from memphis ... and jookin was born there ... the dance style ;) ... one of the best footwork dance based styles in the world .. balance and glides ....plus poppin and tutting and other components

@Drewb187 "Turf dance is an improvisational, free-flowing form of dance that focuses on storytelling, the creation of optical illusions, and the display of distinctive personal style. Dance elements INCLUDE POPPING, locking AND MIMING." "GLIDING IS HEAVILY USED ON TURF DANCE because it enables the creation of optical illusions. "Going dumb," or completely letting one's emotions loose on the dance floor, is also a distinctive part of the tradition".
