Cause that's where his flow is at. Remember dancing is about flow not always about strategy. I don't know a lot of people who dance for fun and say okay but if we dance we have to do 90% line dance regardless.
i think the judging was pretty fair but Kid David definitely would've had more stuff to show in later rounds. Getting through the 1st round is very crucial in RedBull.
lil cheng is sick..his power moves are so clean and smooth, hes worked hard...much respect. yeh kid david has nice style to but you cant say hes waayy better then lil cheng. plus why do people see style more better than power. Their different and power take more time and you have to be patient for a long time. anywyas nice battle.
Because in a competition the winner is usually the person who can show that he has all aspects of bboying. Kid dave has power style and foundation , but Lil Ceng is all power no dance.
Ten years ago I thought David won because the narrative was that a power mover could not beat a more unique style of breaking but both did well. I think the deciding factor of this was that Ceng was much more dynamic because both of them showed variety except Ceng did high level power. Ceng won by one vote. That let's you know how close this battle was.
Kid David should've won, but he did mess up a couple times if you look at him really closely. And I agree that his 2nd and 3rd set were definitely not up to par with what he can usually do.
i don´t understand why you guys envy lil Cengs victory. he was clean, on point and he was dancing on beat. sure kid david was very good but it was a close battle just because he is a powerhead doesn´t mean he has no style at all lil Ceng worked hard for his skills like every other Bboy
if you want to get that deep, i don't think RBBC1 is the place to bring that. KD's sets aren't that original, I've seen him pull the same sets in older videos. But I see what you're saying.
look closely. as far as i can see lil ceng has decent tops and footwork. and his freezes hit the beats well especially in the first set...so he is actually dancing
i want to be mad that kid david lost because he's hella dope and i think he was better, but lil ceng backed it up in the next two rounds especially against pelezino

yes you´re right but you can´t see whether Lil Ceng was already running in or not after Kid David standing up...but ok its a redicilous discussion i doubt that the judges are that much biased...they have their reasons why giving it to Lil Ceng sure it´s really a pity that Kid David got eliminated in the first round...but i´m sure he will win other battles cause hes really good
yo i got to say i agree... imo kid david should have won... but at the same time Lil Ceng was dancing... he might have only been doing power, but almost all of it (I didn't like his second set) was great with the beat A lot of power heads are dancing, they just express themselves to the beat of music through power (Cico is NOT one of them)

wow kid david was always good, but wow...he has gotten even better. kid was on top of his game and definitely got robbed. lil ceng pulled out his BEST sets on this one. if they let kid david through, he would've been in the finals against wing. a wing vs kid david finals would've made me very very happy. i hate breakdancing. i love kid's bboying though HAHAHA!

First Round: TIE Second Round: KDavid Third Round: KDavid David was more well rounded, and may have had some lil mess ups but were not noticeable. Lil Ceng only did power moves and only executed good his first round. and was a lil sloopy on his endings. Just My opinion.
Highway Robbery! I'm pretty sure that Kid David got robbed...especially when 90% of these comments are in Kid David's favor. Kid David killed the beat so hard in every set of his. I have no idea where Lil Ceng went after his first set. I think Kid took every set. I wonder if Lilou pulled the wrong name card! LMAO! Props to both bboys. Lil Ceng is a monster regardless, but I really do think Kid David encompasses what a bboy is due to his mad style and flavor unlike raw power from Ceng.
Kid David got robbed. I personally think he did just about as well if not a little better against Lil Ceng than Taisuke did against him. Oh well lets just hope that they invite him again this year and the judges get it right.

kid david didnt really get robbed, lil ceng is nice wit it. It was really close though, if i were judging, I'd prolly god for King David :), especially if this were not the 1st round, lil ceng repeats his shit every round, he's got a limited amount of moves which is why he lost to taisuke who didnt pull much of his arsenal out.
Both do different things, bboy's need to do everything, that's the problem whith some of you...you only do one thing... or style or move or technic's, that's the reason why taisuke won. If lil ceng would have a better footwork, or if kid david ripped of some moves? Wouldn't it been easier to judge? Yeah kid david is a beat killer, but does easy moves in compare to what lil ceng did in the first set.
