I am so proud of this black man. He went to rehab and isn’t afraid to speak on it for those who look up to him. He wants to build a rehab in the community he grew up in and politically he knows what he can do personally. He knows he can do more by working with his State Officials. Thats what’s up Young King! Everybody didn’t make it.
Just came out of rehab in April of 2024. I was in a very dark place in my life and became a chronic alcoholic I'm 19 and I decided to sort myself out while I'm young and build a better life for myself. I've been a huge Durk fan since 2017 and his music and views in life helped me push through as a young black Muslim man. He is doing huge things to change his fans lives without even knowing. I pray he doesn't turned out like Vroy Nuski Von and Dthang he needs to live to prove to millions of lost and suffering young black men like me that you can survive and thrive in this world without turning down a dark path.

Durk started this whole *interrogation* with the most *REALNESS* I think I ever seen from an artist in his position. Bro set the tone saying he *needed* help, so he *GOT* help and he proud of it. WHAT?!?!! 🤯🤯 Most of us “nobodies” could never find the inner peace/courage to say that ishh OUT LOUD, even the folks who have *NOTHING* to LOSE with *EVERYTHING* to GAIN can’t find the strength to say that ishh! 🤯👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽
so fucking proud and happy lil durk got better and is speaking out being brutally honest about his situation. The stigma around addiction is killing people. Him speaking out like this will at least save a few lives. Hell it even motivates me to get sober and on the right track. Thanks durk
