I don't care what you heard, Bossman Brewster (@bigreformtv ) is the face of Prison Reform in the state of Texas. He and Dr. Chris Carter, the Director over all prisons, have put together an unbelievable movement, revisiting and influencing the prison culture. I've been allowed multiple visits with them, but this was the best by far. We visited the Memorial Unit, formerly known as Darrington, aka Chocolate City, the name was changed during COVID for the fallen workers and staff who passed. Memorial Unit also has a female Warden who has a great spirit and has brought about significant changes on that unit, earning huge respect from the inmates.
Bossman Brewster holds a powerful presence in that room, extending far beyond the trucking game. This is a BIG REFORM. I want to thank him for allowing me to walk the unit and see the guys. We went all the way through close custody, ad seg, and the G5s. They got to rock with us and that’s something never done before. And of course, they asked for some 25 summers on that mic.
