This is a lesson for many Black journalists. The audience wants to learn from the person you are interviewing, not hear your personal perspective over and over...
@OVOXGER9 Glad you didn't respond like a drunk failed rapper and accepted the criticism if your going to build a platform up you need constructive criticism and away from yes men
@@OVOXGER9you got to bro , and food for thought when you interview someone make sure you have as much history as possible so you don’t have to interrupt
This is why OG'S should interview OG'S cause they can relate to the situation. Let the youngsta's stay in their on lane. Lil Monster was being a lot more patient than I would have been
Damn u really fked this one up. Nggas been wondering where Lil Monster at for the longest & he blessed u with an interview and u cut him off the whole time. I know u aware by now but damn, gotta redo this one
For a really long time I wondered whatever happened to this dude (thought he was dead). I also heard Monsta say he is no good. KevMac should interview him and get a different perspective on the lifestyle (active gangbanger to non-active/snitch).
Can we get cuz to explain why him and my comrade sanyika fell out and the allegations behind it and the also why all the north side treys say he got booted of they hood? I’m not biased or partial to either side and As much time I spent having conversations with Monster he would never give me an answer to any of it and I been dying to ask these questions for well over 8 years now
@@TRAP-a-Velli That's me, Yung Monster. Monster TiP was without a doubt Pro-Black & a stalwart citizen of the Republic of New Afrika. Without going into long detail, this might help. We was choppin it up one day and I cracked a joke bout my lack of Melanin. He laughed, and if anyone knows to get Monster TiP to laugh was something, since he was the funniest cat you ever met. After the laugh though, with the quickness he said, "but you know what Homie, you've been around US for so long, you got it through osmosis!" LONG LIVE BiG MONSTER TiP!!!
@@GeeMood the OGs from my projects said the same thing about me I'm from a small hood in Pittsburgh PA our state doesn't have the same segregations or politics but I always found Mr Shakur to be the epitome of a man of honor and moral fiber who's book helped guide me thru placements projects and jail and maintain my reputation as a man of honor and integrity. My condolences the world suffered a great loss.
These comments are showing me why it’s so important for interviewers to let their guests speak and not commandeer the interview. The guests are there to share their perspectives, which is just based on your line of questioning. Please learn from this moving forward.
keep working lil bra and be glad you got suck a big ticket first up. but i wish this would have took place first on kev mac. an i can't lie i most definitely enjoyed the interview, you brought a since of funny to the interview that we have never seen with theses old heads. thanks
No words....Geezus. When you get someone on your show with as much knowledge of these events as Lil Monster, 4 the love of God, stay sober next time and ..just....let.....him....talk.
Not every interview has to be the same let people do what they do, only thing he did wrong this interview “IF” anything was interrupting the guess..which he said he will work on
Was the accusations by big monster true or false? I believe it was heat of the moment siblings beef, probably not factual. Also, is kershaun good in the turf?
@@hazard1080 and he's LOVED BY REAL ETGCZ HATED BY NEW COMERS .U DO THE MATH ...BIGC MONSTER HAD HIS ON FAULTS ...BUT WE DIDN'T JUDGE HIM ALSO ...LIL MONSTER IS A RIDAHZ AND GREAT MAN ...
Bruh yall just stated facts: "you don't have to be a gang member to be immersed in gang culture" I found your brother book 8th grade. A year later we moving (intended pun?) across Western. I met you, then years later your brother over at them "apartments". I met so many yall and didn't even really know fr fr who I was meeting sometime. I was standing in front of Ali's for Tookie funeral. Shit wild watching these podcast now.
Nice interview but i agree way to much interruption. I kept wanting Lil Monster to finish what he was saying but he couldn't kuz dude kept cutting him off. He kept is proffessional tho and didn't trip. But I know it wasn't easy to hold his composure.
Ever since that old Documentary when Monster was in Pelican Bay, and him and his Homie Tony was there, and his Baby Mom's and his Son "Punch", I always wondered what happened to Lil Monster.......U gotta do A Kev Mac, and the height of Gangsta vs 60's, he was right there..... would like to hear his side of that
Don't believe the Hype kids. Funny how you can leave out and highly exaggerate crucial events when talking to people who don't know any better and so many of the people that know the Truth are either dead or too old to pay attention to lil monster (certified debriefer).
Great video, great gym, but got a bit trigger happy with the questions. Next time make your questions and bullet points, then let the guest answer the questions.
This should have been a Kev Mac interview. He would've touched on a lot of things the audience wanted to hear. Then again Kershaun may have told him in the beginning there are certain things he wouldn't discuss.
lil monster and Frank use to take quarters from me and my friends on way to school (Raymond Ave elementary). And take our pinball games at Mr Spirits (69th st liquor store, next to Vivian’s lol.
Dawg... Damn. lol I appreciate the interview...but... You have to let your guess TALK. Let them get their stories out without you interrupting. I'm sure these are things you'll learn.
