This is officially my favorite song by him. It’s so beautifully composed together. The melodic sound of the guitar and the way him and Miley harmonize with each other. This is a masterpiece
I'm glad I saved this song for last to listen to. He's singing to his past self, a self whom he's apologized for, whose mistakes weigh him down, but now, he's forgiving himself. He doesn't want to forget the person who he was and he remembers each time he sings. Now that he's healing, he changes his perspective on his past self and instead of seeking forgiveness or turning away, he doesn't want to forget. This album is beautiful. Congratulations on making it. We're all so proud of you.
It is unhealthy, how many times i've been replaying to this and I'm not ashamed of it. I personally think this is the best song from this album, and perhaps one of the best song of all time.
This is a beautiful ballad. Nas and Miley’s voices blend so wonderfully together. It feels so dreamy and peaceful combined with the gorgeous visualiser. It makes me feel like I’ve entered a special kind of heaven. Everything looks and sounds so exquisite and peaceful. They both absolutely killed it! Amazing ballad!☺️

@@rebeccasmith2851 Well, she has always sounded Incredible, so in that way, yes. However, she's been really leaning into her rock side, so her voice now has this greater depth and raspiness, which I really love. It wasn't really there if you go back to her stuff from 8 years ago.

This song prompted me to play it over and over. What a beautiful collaboration of voices. I had never heard Miley song before nor Lil Nas X for that matter. Powerful duet and a contender for song and artist for this year and the next!!
