This is one my favorite songs off the album. This masterpiece HAS NO SKIPS. I love his voice and how smooth they go with all the beats. Your blackness and queerness go hand to hand. Such a inspiration to me.
right! i really aint a huge fan of pop in general, but i heard call me by your name and had to listen to the rest of the album when it dropped... i only expected to save a few songs, but here we are like a month or so later and i havent bothered adding the whole album to my playlist because i just listen to it at work every day on repeat lmaoo. i never skip a song either. i did not expect to become such a fan so fast lmao
This live sounds better than on cd haha .I liked this song on album,so emotional, I hope he will founds love ,somebody to love him ....This song is better live ,and montero on SNL is great .... I liked this songs on album Scoop ft doja cat , That's what I want ,Montero ....
@@the77th He talked about verse 3 in an interview...he was apprehensive about putting it out...what mother says some shit like that to their child? I was trying to hold back tears after that verse
@@thegoldenbowl5217 it’s very very common! My mother did the best she could and never really went as far as his mother did but, there are some conversations about childhood abandonment that we are yet to have….. so when he says that line, “my momma Told me that she love me don’t believe her”…… it was definitely felt……
I’m obsessed with his album. Every song is a actual masterpiece. I’m listening non stop since it came out. He’s one of the best artists right now…that’s a fact. I’m really a big fan of him!🤘🏽♥️
His voice is so inviting, it is like you start listening and even if it isn't "your type" of music, you just can't stop. So musically alluring in the most interesting ways.
can we please talk about how stable is his voice and how comforting it sounds ? Like it's nice to hear idk how to say and also the musicians are soooo good omg this is a golden team
I am so beyond obsessed right now like i cant stop listening hes so talented and he sounds PERFECT live like so strong omg.. so amazing im o b s e s s e d
as a musician you don't now how we appreciate when artist like this make things live. Thank you for this. This drummer... man, such energy, of course the rest of the band.. I love it!! wow. I'm so happy with this album, now I see this live lounge and Nas... Man I love you!
Everyone likes the drummer but I thought he was being unecessarily extra... it was too much for a song like this... the drummer for Beyoncé’s crazy in love performance on Oprah however made complete sense as he molded himself to the emotion of the artist
I mean he’s using live auto tune but I think it’s a conscious choice. I don’t think auto tune automatically takes away from someone’s ability as a performer and songwriter. He’s not the best singer, and he knows that. And like…that’s ok? He’s got a great bass baritone range so needs help especially with the higher range. As he gets more lessons and experience he will get better. X
... he's using live autotune as Tomi said, but he's using it very well, and in a subtle way that sounds great for the song. Autotune is a *too*, not a magical spell.
That look from he eyes when he said ( '' You know I never did you wrong'' at 0.44 ) is so moving. I really wish him all the success in the world that he diserves .
Lil Nas X (Montero) , rapper, singer, artist...this young man is an ENTERTAINER!!!! This was so good to see him do this live I wanna she him preform Void and Am I dreaming live , his range is crazy good, love the live band that puts me in my feels so much more ♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️♥️ from Houston
he’s such an undeniably versatile artist, and thats definitely his biggest strength cause you dont see that alot these days at all. usually an artist picks something that people like and stick to that, but he just does everything, constantly experimenting and evolving. the mark of a star in the making imo.
This song is instantly my new favorite. This live version - just seeing him look at the camera and say the words - DESTROYS me. And the drums and electric guitar at the end of killer. Literally “Hallelujah, how’d you do it?” Is so apt.
one of the best albums of the year, what an impressive debut! also absolutely loved this performance. I was kinda surprised he chose this song bc I feel like it's the most emotional & intense one on the album. I really hope the pandemic ends soon and I'll get the chance to see him live 🙏🏼
