Thank you I didn’t know the trick of inserting a small screwdriver into the hole of the wrench tool to help tighten it made all the difference and ended my frustration!

Make sure not to twist too tight when you put the screwdriver in the silver cylinder. I tightened it too far and mine broke the metal! Trying to see if I can get a new steering wheel piece now since that's the only part that's broken.
thanks for going over a fix but i think for a lot of people, the bottom metal piece is broken so it won't stay in anyway these are pretty cheap/fragile

Unfortunately you put the steering wheel on upside down. The instructions show a different steering wheel, so it made assembly confusing... but it clearly states the wide side of the wheel should face forward. No big deal though... just a heads up for those using this video to help them.
Thanks for checking out the video. Yes, I thought that at first also... But you are reading instructions that are referring to the wrong steering wheel. Check out the sites that are selling the rider with the steering wheel pictured in the video (like Amazon.com). If they are wrong, then you are right. I'm not sure it makes a difference which way you install it. I just installed like the manufacturer indicated. Happy New Year!
Not sure why the front wheels don't touch the ground. In all the videos I've watched it doesn't touch. Might be to get over uneven surfaces but just not sure...
