When this came out I was homeless, on drugs, and then jail. I now have a house, job, and husband. This song and “Clover Cage - In the Moment” are the two songs that helped get rid of my depression. I just want to send love to everyone and I want everyone to know things will get better. We are in this together..I love you 💕🎉
I think 2008-2015 with people like Waka Flocka, French Montana, Wiz Khalifa, Future, Wayne, Drake, Big Sean and Rick Ross & shit. After Dark Sky Paradise, “tRaP” became popular and, well... that was it for good hip hop.

Well the brain only remembers things that are important or made a huge impact in your mind. Plus you probably know this but synapses increase the strength of your memories. If you repeat something enough and it has an emotional response in you it typically will never leave your mind unless of course you get a concussion or dementia and it kills of the Neurons that held the sequence.
That unforgettable beginning of Future, that catchy Drake chorus, the unique and melodious beat for those who listen to rap, and Lil Wayne who gave everything in his bars, great song.
What are you talking about? You’re implying the industry caught up with him at this time?? Probably his absolute peak was 2007-2008 or some time around Carter 3, well before this. But he was big even in the late 90s, almost 20 years before this.
I was just thinking the same exact thing lol but then it just goes to show you how huge lil Wayne actually was in his prime. Literally Everyone was his son lmao.
How did I go from a 17 year old high school senior when this song first came out to turning 29 years old this summer. Time really goes by fast. No more Drake and Future collabs 😔
Tsholofelo Kgasane once upon a time, people started to call songs like a Bay Bay or even Ice Ice baby classics.... get where I'm going here when I say this is timeless lmaoo
It's 2024, but here I am listening to the song that used to make me go crazy back in highschool😂. 2013 is still one of my best years coz of this kinda music🥵🥵🥵.
