Never had any huge $ like a lambo or other gifts dropped in my lap, but one time I got 2 free tickets to a concert at a nearby casino that I never even played in. I'm assuming they saw the paperwork from the casino on side of them where I liked to play, and figured they'd like some of the money their competitors were getting. When they're different casinos, and they got shuttle busses between them that they share. It's awful fishy looking. Back to my 2 complimentary general admission tickets, and I'm standing in line by myself. My wife was safely sitting comfortably away from everything just enjoying getting out. Told she'd never walk again, she was recovering from an operation to fix an operation that was done wrong the first time and was still in her wheelchair. I step up there and give my id and comp tickets, and explain that I need a handicap spot for my wife to sit in. The woman points to the seating chart and says I can put her right here on the front row, but you'll have to sit a few rows behind her. I calmly say "nope that won't work" as I point to the farthest spot from the stage. Way back in the corner of that seating chart was a handicap area, and I said "I'll sit back here if it means my wife is safe, and she's by my side for the night". "That won't work." That's all i wanted that night and was sincere about it. The lady gets up and goes to a closed off part in the box office and comes back with wristbands and vip lanyards that were neon yellow that I didn't see any one else getting. She's like you'll be here now, and points to probably the 2 best seats there and gives me the vip stuff. That was the best concert I've ever been to for many reasons, but after the show we were on side the stage hoping to see Flo Rida after the concert and just soaking up the vip extras stench for the ride home when dude comes up to me and says" line starts here". Huh? "This where you need to be standing for the meet and greet, and Flo Rida will be signing autographs and taking pics so get ready". Man I'm glad I didn't just walk out of there. I had no idea that it costs $1000-5000 per person to meet and greet. It's a real thing they all do standard now I guess. I'm not a small guy but Flo had my head up under his armpit. That's a big dude. We both still can't believe that happened to us sometimes, just lucky and a cool story for sure. I just wanted to have a decent time, and I had one of the best nights of my life. I wasn't trying to get more then I needed, and I was willing to accept the worst seats in the house. Instead, I got the best seats and vip passes. God teaches us in wild ways, but I learned allot that night and had fun too. ✌
Wayne is the epitome of don’t judge a book by its cover….. Some people, could judge him by his tatts, dreads, race, etc. and instantly make a negative assumption. When, in reality, he is one of THE nicest, humble guys out there. You always hear that well known people treat him with respect…..that alone speaks volume!
