@@metalxmetalxmetalxmetalx I understand what you mean by placebo and that may affect a lot of people. But this song has a noticeably better/clearer mix than anything Ian’s released before, which makes sense, he went to the studio with Yachty. With all of his previous tracks the vocal mix has been fried and slightly thin sounding. Which doesn’t necessarily sound bad, it’s just not the noticeable clarity of an industry level studio. This coming from the perspective of an audio engineer.
@@workispurpose my bad, lemme pull up youtube in my car on my drive to work to play 1 specific song, then once its over our pull over, open spotify then go back to my usual music
aka him stealing dc2trills flow and starting a whole crew where they all stole his flow lol. look at the dates if you dont believe me DC been rapping like that since like 2018
@@culturevultureexclusives def not lol Yachty’s pretty versatile now & sounds nothing like dc2, maybe his beat selection I could see some of dc’s influence Definitely not his flow tho
"first thing in the morning blunt, first thing in the morning i jump off the porch and head straight to the Porsche and get to driving like somebody chasin" crazy flow
@@Maggpieei hate this dumb ass saying, he been in the music industry as a engineer and has hella connections. he was bound to blow up once he started rapping+he hard asf
54 years old, a divorced vet and trucker. I remember when this dropped just 30 years ago today. Still brings me joy on those cold nights on the highway where it's just me and a good ol' bottle of whisky. God bless Ian and Yachty for dropping this certified banger.
Ngl that verse Ian said “I’m the same old kid, but I gotta grow up now, I’m grown up now” hits hard(life & time flys fast your still the same kid but grown & older)
Ian wasn’t even on my radar until Tyler. 😂 I love Tyler, but I do think there is room for everyone. If ppl fw Ian then they fw him, good for him, doesn’t affect us.
"first thing in the morning blunt, first thing in the morning i jump off the porch and head straight to the Porsche and get to driving like somebody chasin" insane pace
But God has helped me to this very day; so I stand here and testify to small and great alike. I am saying nothing beyond what the prophets and Moses said would happen- that the Messiah would suffer and, as the first to rise from the dead, would bring the message of light to his own people and to the Gentiles. Acts 26:22-23
Are these over exaggerating boosting OH MY GOD THIS IS LIKE THE BEST THING EVERRRR type comments bots or smthn??? 😭 this song is not good to me, i don’t understand how this comment section is so hyped over it Nothing against any of the of the rappers in the song, but it’s not even catchy…
Why is Yachty the only one making this super experimental sounding music. This sounds refreshing. Edit: I ain't gonna lie I'm getting cooked in these comments. My bad y'all 😭.
@@xentaithellamaI’ll bet you any amount of money that he won’t be lol. There’s no longevity to dis music. It’s a trend rn because he’s a preppy white boy but ain’t no one playin dis at the club. White suburban kids bumpin dis lol Once the novelty wears off he’ll be another wanna be yeat

"I'm the same old kid. I gotta grow up now; I'm a grown-up now. I've been having some long ass nights." Hits different as you're getting older. Flow & visuals crazy too.
