All my new tutorials have voice comments. Old ones have just music:) I wasn't sure in my English😊 Now I'm not sure about it - but comments really helping to paint better and to understand technics (ways of painting). About this lilac - most important: paint first layer of flowers dark and saturated well. Second layer (petals) - lighter. Also before you ll paint petals inside lilac area - form interesting outline - starts at 18:19 (I paint "V" shaped strokes - "\" and "/"). Also extremely important - brush shapes. Flat oval shaped for petals, flat slanted for leafs. In every tutorial I talk lots about it - proper shape paint details excellent so we have less work:) Brush do it!

This is the same paint as the list of supplies, but in large containers for ease of use. I do not like to twist the small caps of tubes. Large containers are much more convenient for me. Medium I use is just water

Your paints go on so smooth. Do you use any medium to add to your paints?

I use water. Two things need to remember - first is change water many times (especially when u change colors dramatically - for example paint with pink-red and then green - u have to change water for clear one, other way red+green will give brown water and it will give dirtiness to work) and second important moment - feel the consistency of paint.Its can hard to feel for first times - bit u ll get it with more experiences. Paint need to be smooth, ductile - not dry. But also dont put too much water - paint dont need to be runny and watery. I'd recommend ppl who have issue with consistency to put little amount of water with wet little brush. Little brush cant handle lots of water - so u will add water drop bu drop and mix. While u mixing - try too feel if paint is comfort to work with, paint 1-2 strokes on palette - paint have to keep coverage well enough (sometimes can be half-transparent. Remember - white, yellow and red pigments always transparent, also some other colors - emerald green for example. Its depends from base of colors - sometimes its white, sometimes transparent ) but not liquid and not dry. Then work will go really smooth.

I am going to add liquid retarter instead of water next time I paint my dog. The acrylic I use are very gunky and thick. I ordered the paints you suggested in your list as well. They seem to go on more smoothly! :-))

What paint you use? As i paint this picture via your instruction clip but my lilac not beautiful and same with your lilac. Any instruction about lilacs more such as brush name and technical to paint?

I use acrylic. This is one of my first tutorials on YouTUBE channel - with no voice. Brushes - flat oval for flowers, slanted flat for leafs. For the same or close to mine result - repeat same tutorial more then just ones. Some process needs practice. I have in plans to paint lilac again soon (with voice comments this time)
