Confused? LONG STORY SHORT:
My name is Jess! I had a daughter (Lilia) at age 18 w/ my high school sweetheart. We mutually split up & co-parent to this day. I met someone new, got married at age 19, had twin boys (Kyson & Kaden) and another son (Landen). He cheated, we split ways, & he’s not around much. After juggling life as a single mom of 4 for some time, I met Chris, he had 2 sons: Caden and Tommy, who eventually became my step sons. After Chris and I got married, we had our 7th child together, Addelyn. i’ve been here since my middle school years and now it’s my senior year! It’s one of many firsts for your first. First day of Kindergarten, middle school and now high school. It does not get easier, there will be tears and more tears. There is something about your oldest and your youngest, that just hits different. But don’t worry you will survive as you move through these seasons. My oldest is now 39, and the youngest is now 29. It’s goes by so fast as you already know. So hold on and grab those tissues, you’ll need them

It’s just as emotional for us Jess as it is for you. I’ve been watching since you announced that you were pregnant with Lilia and you were in high school. You were my real life 16 and pregnant (even though the show is “real” too, but they don’t show everything on the show). You showed everything. The real real. The ups, the downs…the marriages, the divorce, the preganancies, the moving on, figuring out life, if you wanted to go to school, if you didn’t. You showed everything. This is a really big milestone. I’m so happy for you both!

I started watching your videos right before Lilia started Kindergarten!! It’s so crazy that she’s in high school now! How?! I also just stepped from teaching the preschool Sunday school class at my church and recently found out that one of my first students I had is now a senior in high school!! I couldn’t believe it!

I had 3 kiddies years ago now I have grandkids. I cried when my son got his drivers license. He was the oldest but it made feel good that they turned such mature adults. It’s my grandkids who make me cry now. My oldest just started 5th grade and the next to youngest started 1st. Then lots more after that. It’s hard but in a happy way!! ❤

The montages always get me. I remember watching Lilia’s first day of Pre-K when I was still in middle school🥹. I’m 26 now and finishing up my masters degree. I feel like I’ve grown up with your family and I just can’t believe how fast time has come and gone. Lilia is going to do so amazing in high school. I can’t wait for all of the dance team content!

Have been watching since the twins were born and it has been so special to see her grow up! I have a choir and regularly have kids stay 5 - 10 years, thus seeing them grow up. I actually love this stage where they are between childhood and adulthood. It is so fun to have conversations with them and see them grow into their own character.

No it does not get easier! Just wait till they leave the house for ever. That's the hard one. I am lucky and my oldest lives in a tiny house on my property with his wife. You build tiny homes for each one and put them on your property or buy more land so everyone can live on it and have space. That's kinda what I did but only one stayed out of 3.

I dropped my Lily off for 1st Day of High School a few weeks ago and I was waiting to see how you handled this day for Lilia. To answer you question as to what you go do?!? Go on a cruise with the ladies. Go get some goats you need them anyway for all that grass you have now. Go to the casino at 9am. Meet some OLD OLD ladies and become friends with them it will be one of the best life choices ever. You will feel so much younger too! Pick up some silly hobbies like stalking Hobby Lobby.
