LILIAC - Carousel | Lyric Video Reaction 

They will be in Toronto. I am in Montreal. I have been following them since the singer was 11 and they were only 3 of them. They were known as the Cristeas. Sam the guitarist was the lead singer.

Their ballad is sailaway, it just received best song in a movie for the movie cry of silence at the rome 8 halfilm awards 2024. They recently released a cover of dream on featuring zoe flores from the band roZy it's very well done too

She has incredible range and can really hold a note. There is an actual video that shows them playing and the “fangs” that acted as the carnival performers. A ballad suggestion is Sail Away, another of their originals. There are some excellent videos of live performances, Mars (live in Cumming, GA) which begins with an amazing guitar solo by Sam, or Not Afraid. They did another cover recently of Heaven and Hell which is amazing. Other originals, Alone, Dear Father, We Are the Children, Mystery, Chain of Thorns, and Crazy Nights.

"Dancing In The Dark" is a good one one of my favorites.

Melody's voice is fantastic in this video but it would have been twice as good if it just a white sheet with the text scrolling. I think most of them will cringe each time they look at themselves here. The lyrics were not impressing me, but The Beatles seldom impressed me with their lyrics either.

You picked up on something: She's got a great voice but is not a great singer. She tends to show off her voice rather than enhance the song. Their guitar solos do a similar thing. They just did an Aerosmith Dream On cover. It's pretty good.

They are a band that gets attacked all the time. Must be doing something right?

Thay are a top of the line cover band, there song writing is just ok not grate, i can see them as a las vegas house band one of the best,,

I'm still on the fence with these guys. Like you, willing to listen to more of their music, but this particular song was off of the bullseye. I like the musicianship, and most of the vocals, but in the chorus it sounded like she was straining her vocal cords, and that took me out of the moment.

She sings every song exactly the same , same cadence same flow , hoarse voice gets old real quick. They are a glorified cover band .

I just can’t take her voice it sounds a bit forced and put on to me.
