LILIAC I hate myself for loving you Reaction 

Man. That voice. Just stunning. She’s got to be the top rock/metal female vocalist right now.

5-piece Los Angeles-based, family Rock/Metal band, “Liliac” has sparked the world by storm. This female-fronted band consisting of all siblings’ ages 13-22 has brought a unique and fresh sound they call “Vamp Metal”. Lead vocalist, Melody (19), with her raspy-powerful voice; Lead guitarist, Samuel (22), with his skillful-effortless guitars; Drummer, Abigail (21), with her solid-thunderous drums; Bassist, Ethan (14), with his rich-thick bass; Keyboardist, Justin (13), with his passionate-polished keys; is what makes this band so incredible and catches the eyes of millions. Liliac, which means “bat” in Romanian, not only, has a unique meaning but also a unique story.

Melody is right up there as one of the best Female Rock Singers of our time.

If you guys are fans of Liliac's camera work & staging, I would strongly suggest that you react to "Sail Away." A couple of things to keep in mind before you do. #1: Forget everything that you thought you knew about Liliac. #2: Have a putty knife handy, because you will probably be so blown away that you'll have to scrape yourselves off the wall.

I love this song by Joan Jett but I have to agree with the suggestion that Melody and her beautiful voice have taken it to an untouchable level. It is incredible for a band to be able to do so many different cover songs and do them so well. I love this band.

this is so sacrilegious to say.. I can hardly believe im saying it as an old time rocker.. this friggin bands covers are almost always better then the originals.. their own songs are ridiculous as well.. i just dont get how theyre all this good .. forget how young they are

I don’t know why but I get choked up when I hear great reviews about them ! Think it’s because I have kids their age and I kind of feel so pleased for them almost a proud dad feeling about them papa and mama liliac must be bursting with pride !

I keep remembering your first reaction....”Whooaa!! How can they be THIS GOOD!” They killed this one for sure! Make sure you put March 5 on your calendar, they’ll be dropping their cover of Metallica’s Master of Puppets! I believe that one will become your new favorite!

Melody went next level nuclear with this performance. I agree it's better than the original. Not that it is not good. Liliac took it to an almost untouchable level.

Keep in mind when most of their covers were originally recorded by the original artists the technology was VERY different which makes the originals sound, well, old. Paranoid in the 1970’s sounds it was recorded on a tin plate. Even Joan Jett’s original sounds very compressed and lacks the depth that can be achieved today. Not taking anything away from the kids, they rock. The fact they are covering 40-50 year old songs and killing it means rock n roll is safe.

Very well said about her voice Honestly I think when each one of them were born, their parents sold their souls to rock n roll. I mean I can see 1 out of 5 being a music prodigy but 5 out of 5 come one. There is no other way to explain it. They sold there souls to rock and roll as they were born. Their parents are so cool to help them and teach them and be behind them every step of the way. Their dad is grate for them as a producer. Each and every one of these kids are so amazing. Its like they were born with a lifetime of music already in their souls. Your right. I dont believe in god but I do believe in many higher powers. They are going to be rock gods. They are the future of rock and roll. They have this screwed up covid world down with them streaming all the time. They are way ahead of their time. I actually had chills. Her voice is absolutely amazing. I've listened to their covers and their own songs and they have metal in their veins. I don't know the drummers name but not only is she super talented but also super hot. Keep rockin' Liliac.

Very few female vocalist can cover Joan Jett or Janis Joplin or Grace Slick or Ronnie James Dio but Melody covers them all sounding as good or better than the original Melody must have incredible range and tone to accomplish that.

I was lucky enough to attend the original Woodstock festival. I was seventeen and It changed my outlook on music. These young people could fit in there just fine. I say this because I was there. They will have their time, you can just feel it. I like the passion in your reactions.

Melody nailed what, to be, is the most important thing to do when covering this song - she pronounced clown EXACTLY the way Joan did, with the same snarl. And yet they still made the song their own. Abigail Cristea, and Steve Morse (Deep Purple, Dixie Dregs, Kansas) are the two happiest people I've ever seen in rock - and her smile beams out just as much at their shows as in their videos.

This is how I'd break it down: Keyboard: pro level Bass: flawless Drums: World Class Guitar: Legendary Vocals : GOD MODE Let's not forget that the bass and keyboard are barely teenagers and they are rapidly improving. The 3 older ones are 22, 21 and 19, which means they have time to keep getting better as well. The future belongs to them.

The last 30-seconds of that song is just legendary. Her screams and growls were just ridiculous. She could have held that last scream for 5 minutes if she wanted to. Wow, Melody took that to another level! Sorry Joan, someone just sang your song better than you did.
