fun fact: the guy in the suit rocking out in the vid is Stewart Copeland of The Police, he was there doing some filming and ran into one of their shows. hes now a big fan and supporter of Liliac....the pier authorities made them stop doing shows there, they draw crowds so big that it interfered with the other people trying to get thru...
Don't forget, that Copeland included them in his BBC Documentary, and played with them in a couple of songs, while they filmed it. Thought Lee might like knowing that, seeing he probably pays for BBC TV! lol
Mars. Live from Cuming Georgia. It will absolutely blow you away. If you like guitar solos you're gonna love this one. Melody's vocal solo is right up there at the top.
Wow, am I the first FANG to see this? Fantastic reaction to a fantastic video. Thanks Mr. Infinite, LILIAC, and of course Black Sabbath. I loved the replay of Sam's solo part! BTW, did you catch Melody's Karate kick? This band's got energy!
I have been following them from their very early days at the Pier. It is fascinating to watch them grow. They are so down to earth and you can feel in every vid how much they love doing what they are doing. The joy, the power, the fun they have. I think it is what attracts so many people. And their unbelievable talent of course. I mean is there a voice like Melody's around right now? It will be interesting to see if they can break into the charts as and independent band.
Bye the way, the guy rocking out in the business suite is none other than Stewart Copeland who happened by while shooting a documentary and was so gobsmacked he included them in his filming.
And he put on the guitar strap and jammed with them. I didn't even know he played guitar. Always though he was just a drummer for the Police. But I found out he is so much more than that. Along with being a composer.
Every suggestion you get for these brothers and sisters on where to go next is good for me! Whether it be cover or original, there all kickass, although I’m a little partial towards their originals! Keep your eye open for a new cover video of them doing Metallica’s Master of Puppets! I think this will be their best one yet! Already posted this to their “fang” page!
Abigale has got to be the world's happiest drummer😂😂😂 Another fine choice there Lee. Can't go wrong with Liliac👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 Holy Diver by Dio is a great cover by Liliac "Holy Diver - Liliac (Official Cover Music Video)" ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-wPfNs_N9nE4.html
So glad you liked it I can't wait for all the other ones I requested for you to try they Never Let you down that's 4 sure that's why they are my #1 band ! #LiLiac #VampMetal #1Fang @LiLiacRockBand
Iconic rock songs. Hmmmm. How about Piece of My Heart. The Janis Joplin hit. Here is a cover that will make you forget the original. I sware Melody is chanelling the spirit of Janis. Someone made a comment once after seeing this bands cover of Iron Maidens The Trooper. They said that Iron Maiden has now become their own tribute band. When Liliac covers a song they make it their own.
Damn I love this band, but for me on this one , it's Abigail's drumming that really carries it for me, her symbol ride is perfect ( Not an easy task ) and she is just spot on ( They all are ) but she's definitely the glue on this one.. Well done! I can't wait to see what the future has in store for this family..
I'm going through your collection of Liliac reactions one by one. So if I sound repetitive about raving how great these kids are and how I love these reactions ... Well I mean too. Because they are one of the best rock bands ever. That's saying a lot. Too many to count in the past. This is so reminiscent of what the 70's and 80's were like watching this video on the Santa Monica Pier. When I was in my 20's we all would go nuts like this crowd did rocking out at a Tiki Bar at the Jersey shore. We even had the old farts like this video has rocking out back in the 70's too. lol Love the fact that you're going through Liliac's collection of songs in succession. Don't stop!!!
Great reaction! You are correct- every cover they do they do it very well! I would suggest Paranoid or Holy Diver next. The you can get into their original stuff after that. I will leave the links below for those 2 videos. It is particularly interesting that they used the Santa Monica Pier location for this video. Liliac spent about 10 years busking at Santa Monica Pier every weekend learning and perfecting their skills and showmanship. They just moved from their Downy, California home to Atlanta, Georgia and they expressed a lot of sadness for leaving their beloved Santa Monica Pier roots.. I'm finding myself spoiled with music of late. In the 1970s in Netherland Colorado (~8600ft above sea level) was Caribou Ranch recording studio. If you listen to those albums starting with Barnstorm (Joe Walsh), and Chicago, Earth Wind and Fire, Elton John, and hear the drum tracks, you hear a resonance that is not replicated on sea level recordings. Today's audio technology makes being an audiofil much easier and cheaper than years ago, and I'm really appreciating what I could not hear back then. I like Liliac much, and wish they'd have had an opportunity to record at altitude. The drums feel flat.
Thank you so much for this song Ozzy & Randy, but I prefer Liliac's version better! Keep em coming Mr Infinite!! We can't get enough of them! So much talent it's unreal.
For young rockers, especially, it's one of the best ways to build their chops. Check out the O'Keefe Music Foundation and see if you like what the youngsters there do with various covers.
@@douglastong3208 There is "little talent" here. A true cover is when you take the original song, modify it to the style of music you practice and make it Your own.
