To explain about the costumes and props; Melody is a painter, Sam is into special effects, Aby is into acting and modeling, Ethan is a gamer, and Justin is into magic; thus the cards. Glad you're going to do more and thanks for giving them honors.

YES! You get it , Liliac is not trying to be Megadeath but they pay tribute to the song Liliacs way and it's great . Another reaction channel derided this version because Melody didn't sound like the MALE lead singer which is ridiculous , they also said the video was cheezy like you but you get what they were attempting to do . You have obviously been fanged and welcome to the world of Liliac ,you have gained my subscription as well as many others I'm sure . Melody sings Heaven and Hell as a guest singer with another band ,I dont recall Liliac doing the song but I could be wrong, regardless react to anything from their playlist every thing that they do is spectacular , looking forward to a long and enjoyable journey . When you said at the beginning you were a Megadeth fan I was worried. A lot of the hardcore Megadeth fans have ripped this cover for not being like the original. My take on a cover is that I do NOT want it to be a note for note copy of the original. I want to hear other bands interpretation, if I want to hear the original I'll listen to the original. That's why I love this band so much. They stay true to the original while making it their own and they have never disappointed me and their originals are great. I think most people have finally given up trying to decide who Melody sounds like and have consigned themselves to the fact that while you can hear the Dio and some Janis Joplin influences she doesn't really sound like anyone else. She does the song as "Melody" and it works, every time. Someone suggested you react to Joan Jett's "I Hate Myself For Loving You" and I wholeheartedly agree, she absolutely NAILED IT! As one reactor said of Melody's rendition, "I think this was what Joan was TRYING to do but didn't quite make it." I'm a big Joan Jett fan from BITD and usually am critical of covers, especially that song, but I have to agree on this one, Melody did it better.

Check out the cover of Hate Myself for Loving you. Melody puts a ton of attitude into it. Many think it's better than the original!

When LILIAC opened with SYMPHONY OF DESTRUCTION back in May, I immediately got pumped up. They had just debuted the video and had added this song to the middle of a previous show, but I loved that they opened with it. They are great live! I came across LILIAC just last Halloween. I was searching for BARK AT THE MOON (Ozzy) on YT and found the CRAZY TRAIN cover by LILIAC. From there, I began checking out everything else they did and became a huge Fang (aka LILIAC fan).

So on the 7th day God rested, but on the 8th day God created LILIAC and saw that His creation was very very good (so it was, the beginning of Vamp Metal). Then God blessed LILIAC and chose them as the Metal Band to conquer the world! Genesis 1:31½

Liliac does their own stuff too. The Dio covers, they were asked to do by Dio's wife for the Cancer tribute. Check out Chain of Thorns, Dancing In the Dark, Dear Father,etc. Their 2 albums they made are incredible.

Abigail’s drumming is awesome! She’s a freaking metronome with power. Loved how she seamlessly switched to half time about half way through he song…did you catch that? All of the band members are dripping talent and are my new fav to listen to.

Unfortunately Liliac doesn’t have a cover of heaven and hell out yet there’s one where Melody is rehearsing with a band. Absolutely right! Papa schooled them in metal (he actually got shunned from his church for liking the music). This and Master of Puppets were a stretch for them. Papa said they aren't political, probably comes from being born under communism. So the video stays away from Megadeth's politically charged take. It's very good, it's just not a perfect fit for them(like Dio is). I'm impressed that you like the music you do, and I do ( you were born the year I graduated from high school). Great job

Agree about Rust in Peace …was just something about that album that always spoke to me as a metal kid back in the day. Also agree about Megadeth albums after this too. Was just happy to see young kids slaying metal when first heard them …now after listening to more and more songs they are very good musicians. 🤘

I heard them about two years ago and they have really grown into there own. These kids are so awesome and the talent is unreal, I have been fanged for sure. Best cover is very hard, but I really like all the Dio covers and the Joan Jett cover of I Hate Myself for Loving You is awesome. They have some great songs also, Nothing, Sail Away, Mars, Chain of Thorns & more. Rock On & Rock Hard!!!

The Cheese was intentional as you said. They didn't want to bring all the political meanings of the song, into their version. After you see more videos, you will see they put a certain flare, on each and every one, and all are unique to the song being sung. Melody is a rock/metal Goddess and is a fangtastic front woman! The sky is the limit for Liliac. Go back 3 years to Crazy Train or do their original Nothing or Mars live. Thanks for the great reaction.

Nice, honest reaction. Soon, after you'll listen to their originals, you won't compare them to anyone. They are really unique. Melody's tremendous rock voice, even when she's theatrical - like her idol (RJ Dio) - together with solid and passionate contribution of each member of the band, makes them unmistakable. When you hear just the first line of any song of theirs you immediately can say: oh, this is Liliac!

The best reaction to this video. Nuanced, historical perspective, artistic judgment! You got it all. To me, as an ex-drummer from this period, Megadeath was "off-limits". Yup! I was into hard rock, prog rock and jazz-rock. Not much heavy metal at the time. You triggered my interest: I want to go back to these classics. Excellent! You got yourself a new subscriber, and I don't do that very often!

Just caught you again. Really liked your reaction. Good points. I didn't have any glitches this time. Good sound etc. The band hasn't done Heaven and Hell, however there is a rehearsal with Melody singing with a LA band that I am not a fan of. However, I think I metchoned Melody singing with GoDpsLive app with Batio-Appice-Sarzo-Cristea and they have done an excellent version of Heaven and Hell. Not sure if you could react to it. She sang with Vinnie at Sabbath Knights which they will be releasing soon of just friends having fun. Any of their covers are excellent. Even younger Liliac. A FANG favorite is The Trooper with Ethan, then 11 or 12 doing a guitar solo, he is turning 15 this month. Or Crazy Train with scenes on the pier, Enter Sandman is great.
