It takes a lot guts to cover Queen (especially live), because Freddy's voice was so iconic, and seemed to fit their songs so perfectly that nobody else could do them justice. I've seen plenty of bands crash & burn when they attempted to do so. Liliac, however, hit the sweet spot, and nailed it. The band, as is their custom, stayed true to the original song, with just enough twists to make it something other than a carbon copy. Melody sang the song as the great singer that she is, and didn't make the mistake of trying to be a Freddy Mercury wannabe. Great job all around.

WOW. Queen are from a time when I was young. Those two song were big when I was about 14/15 years old. Freddie would have given a standing ovation to this fantastic performance. Thanks Liliac, you make an old man young again. God bless you.

I was lucky enough to see Queen in 77' and 80'... You guys killed it! Can't wait to see and hear Liliac in a few more years when you have a major label deal and bring back some REAL Rock to a music scene that's been on life support for 30+ years.

Haha that’s a good way to put it… “on life support!” I grew up here in Australia 🇦🇺 with true rock n’ roll AC/DC originally from Australia, The Angels an Aussie band, to name a few & I agree that real true rock n’ roll music has been pushed & fading away into the back ground all bc of this other shit played on radio stations and seen on mtv and other music outlets . Most new stuff out there I think to myself…. riiiiiiight, yeah nah mate 👎🏼💩

I am so VERY GRATEFUL that there is a band like LILIAC!!! Because of them I know that the music I grew up with will never end. LONG LIVE ROCK AND ROLL!!! I'm getting ready for taking off towards Tulsa. I won't lie, even after I heard a little preview on Patron, I was worried how this would translate live. Queens recordings they did a lot of overdubs with instruments and vocals. I know, I have the vinyl at home. I played this on my phone over my sound system, cannot wait till tonight I'll listen on bigger screen and thru my TV sound is a few notches better. Now, for my initial reaction to one of the family bands I so love. Of course MeloDia getting the croud hyped 🤘This translated very well. I could see Abigails love for Queen playing her heart out. So glad you took some liberties. MeloDia is theatrical and fits in nice with Freddy being so theatrical himself. Sam of course I loved those riffs. So tastefully done. Ethan my man, very tasteful bass. I love you in your own world. Now for the creme to creme. Justin my man. Loved that piano. So dominant and so good. I could tell you love Freddy's keys. For those who always say they cannot hear what I always hear....blagh! You are there. All of my sweets, the whole family, you ended up having this old man tear up a little. You look so at home on stage. You are the Champions in my ❤. Peace. Stay safe. God Speed. FANG 4 LIFE! RORH 🤘 🦇

I'm an old geezer of almost 54 years old. Grew up with Queen, Dio, Iron Maiden and so on... Thought I had seen every tribute to those guys. And then came Liliac. Goodbye every good intended but average tribute...Liliac knows how to impress me every time I see and hear something from them. And what's more... they are building a nice collection of songs from them own. Hope to see you in Europe. The Netherlands would be nice. But I will travel far to see them irl. And what can I say, I have pee-pee in my eyes, how "simply" you rocked these songs, put your stamp on them a bit, but still kept the special feeling... I am so very glad to see Liliac doing this iconic song. They bring such a unique variation to everything they do while staying true to the original. Melody's voice is so awesome but if it were not for Sam nailing the guitar parts so accurately, none of these cover songs would work even half as good as they do. Well done, as usual.
