Thanks sincerely for the share,...unfortunately, after 6.5 hrs in I can't take anymore. What makes the 'story' palatable for me are the scattered moments of truly inspired writing (passages) which are beautifully poetic. If I could clip out those portions of the work and make myself one of these books stuck b/t worlds, I would do so. The not-so inspired days of writing unfortunately shine through with a nearly equal brilliance. i enjoyed our metaphysical journey in the beginning but found myself gradually being stranded by the author's lack of building a functioning story. as i was listening i could feel i was on a rope suspension bridge and kept finding myself having leap over large gaps where footing was completely missing, several times nearly plunging straight down in the ravine of lost interest. i am Sure i will finish this just to find those remaining nuggets of Inspired poetic description but now i need a break from mr Vain. you know, i am fairly certain i would have thoroughly enjoyed this had i read it in early 20th century. that was a different kind of 'innocence' where CSLewis kind of tales perhaps made more of an impact. 👍☕️ THANKS again. and to other readers, do not stop reading because of my take. each Mind must decide for itself
