Lilo and Stitch has to become the best Deleted Scenes was a great long weekend and the last cartoon series animated movie 🎥 film 🎞 has been revealed to me as well soon and Walt Disney Animation Studio is a good moment even though video and DVD 📀 Free happens we didn’t know how with my destiny.
@@XFe1n It means that Hawaiians are exploited over and over and over again. Look up the Last Queen of Hawaii for more details that are never talked about.
I honestly would really like to see it in the final cut. It's so good, especially the part "If you lived here you'd understand". As a person from a vacation town i felt that on all levels
Marсus Ruby SERIOUSLY THO, I LIVE IN ALASKA AND I GET THAT SENTIMENT. LIKE, THE ONLY GOOD THING TOURIST SEASON DOES IS IT OPENS UP THE TOURIST SHOPS OTHER THAN THAT. EVERYONE HERE DREADS IT.
I feel like the reason the Pudge one was deleted is because it was too dark, a scene where Stitch watches a fish god damn die in front of a child, remember, in a children’s movie, that’s way too much for the tone of the film. I’d love it to be in, but given it’s audience it’s perfectly understandable why it wasn’t.
Cole DoesStuff, It should have stayed in Stitch is a weapon he only understood violence and this would be the point when he begins to see that there is no more to the world.
Cole DoesStuff I was always kind of wondering why Pudge didn't show up after the intro. Also re-affirms my life-long lesson that all Seagulls are assholes.
And Gantu is so large I don't really see how he had a little ship and even in the remake Jumba and Pleakley got into that plane/ship and they're normal human size
I'm so glad they changed the plane sequence for the final version. If they kept it in, it would incur the wrath of controversy of the 9/11 attacks. I'm also glad that they whittled down the fight scene between Jumba and Stitch to make it more comedic instead of violent like the original version.
@L. Hannya - 1001 Gameplays Antes de Morrer that's exactly what happened they where like a day away from being ready to put it in theaters then boom 911
@@bigdawg112 Because the reanimation of the scenes was outsourced and not done by disney. Hence why when Jumba attacks at the house he looks so different and much smaller.
@@gualbertogascon2767 I think it would help understand why Lilo liked to mess with the tourists and it builds Lilo personality as more of a chaotic good character, she has good reasons but she goes way too hard on the respond. And is a honest hilarious scene even outside of the movie context
Honestly watching that scene made me think 1st how she shouldn't have taken the fish out of the water in the 1st place if she was so concerned with it's life. I think it was best left out of the movie.
I think it was just a little too much. He went from like total psychopathy to feeling bad in like two seconds. It didn’t feel natural and as a kid I would have still been afraid of him for the entire movie.
Obviously she shouldn’t take the fish out of water but she’s a freaking six year old. My sister did that to our pet fish when she was little, she wasn’t trying to hurt it, it had never occurred to us that we needed to tell her she can’t take the fish out of the water not even for a minute to pet it.
As much as I love the the design of Jumba's spaceship, I kinda wished they they'd have used some of the elements of that chase sequence. I also wish they'd have left the racism of the tourists in place as well. It easily explained why some of her classmate's probably didn't like her. As for Pudge's death, I don't think it was too dark. If anything it showed Stitch learning a VERY pivotal lesson.
Pudge's death would have been too dark for Disney's family friendly demographic from the perspective of the creators. As for the racism of the tourists being connected to Lilo's classmates, I'm sure that at least one of her classmates were also partially or fully native Hawaiian, so I'm not sure if it would be a reason for anyone besides Myrtle to dislike her (other girls always just went along with it)
Yeah sure lets call it "racism" to say hey nativ person. racism used to mean something lot more horrible than being a awkward tourist, how is it even offensive to call somone native? SHE IS NATIVE!
@@MouseGoatThere was sort of a racist tone there. They assume she's native because of her physical appearance. In addition they kinda shout "do you speak English" assuming she wouldn't because they think she's native Hawaiian (but she does know English). They talked about her like she was less of a person and made assumptions tied to what race they thought she was.
@@MouseGoat 1. The one tourist pronouncing Mahalo wrong (at least that's what she seemed to try to say) 2. The other tourist asking her if she speaks English. 3. Another tourist literally pointing at her and saying "look, a real native" and calling her cute in the exact same tone you would use to talk about a baby or a little dog while Lilo is just going about her day and warning people about the sirens. 4. The other tourist taking a picture of her. Those are all racist attitudes. Racism comes in different levels and ways. Just because she wasn't physically attacked it doesn't mean it wasn't racism. Racism means prejudice based on ethnicity. Those people have a preconception, an idea about her before knowing her, based on her race and on how she looks. Therefore, it's racism.
@@tjopj Agreed, most people don't really seem to realize that racism isn't just people being intentionally aggressive, it's sometimes more suttle and is most of the time due to ignorance rather then blind hate. So it would of been nice to see that side of it in this movie.
The Death of Pudge scene is really poignant to both Lilo's and Stitches stories. The lines "you don't let let your family die, you don't ever" and her telling Pudge "I needed you" coupled with Lilo burying Pudge near her parents explains why Pudge was so important to her. In the film Lilo tells her dance instructor that Pudge controls the weather and towards the end of the film she tells Stitch how her parents died in a car accident on a rainy night so her feeding Pudge is her way of both dealing with her grief and protecting the people she loves. Stitch also learns about Ohana and how the actions we take affect the lives and emotions of others which is central to his character development. a really touching scene but i can see why it was left out. confronting death so bluntly was probably a little too dark for the films overall tone.
The Pudge death scene was rewritten and turned into the opening of Lilo and Stitch 2: Stitch Has a Glitch. Stitch has a nightmare about reverting back to his destructive programming and hurting Lilo, and Lilo calms Stitch down by testing his goodness level!
Completely agree. I understand why it was left out but if the scene was kept in it would be a very smooth transition moment for Stitch, since for the first time in his life he would see that there are consequences for his actions. And I also liked how at first he just couldn't comprehend why Lilo was so upset about something he viewed as so insignificant, but after he sees her parents' tombstones he realizes what he has done. Fantastic scene
Meee tooo this scene was to sad like the fish i felt happy the movie maker didnt put these scenes in the movie this would rlly make me down cause im too lonely and never had friends
It has Lilos perspective of tourists and how she is treated. Her character has a funny relationship with visitors of the island and it was portrayed a few times in the movie. She taked pictures of them in an almost satiric and inverse way tourists would with her and her island. I wish it stayed in to keep the idea of how colonialism has affected her and Hawaii
@@kirstieg.2954 colonialism? tourist attraction? Ummm no, tourist is not colonialism that's just a really stupid thing to say, people have been visiting each other since begin of time.
@@MouseGoat Hawaii was colonized and then annexed into the USA. Tourism isn't homogenous and history impacts tourism; colonialism has an impact on tourism. Hawaii's colonization impacts Hawaii's tourist industry.
If they kept these deleted scenes, Lilo & Stitch would have been the greatest Disney movie of all time Not to mention an undeniable contender for an Oscar. The movie would have given better enotional understanding of the characters that would've elevated the movies quality to a whole new level. Stitch's transition from evil to good would be more natural. We'd get a deeper and more powerful depth on what causes Lilo's behavior. And we'd see how Jumba's attempt at creating 626 was done with some good intent, and while he is a mad genius, he was never evil overall. I feel I can safely say that this movie would have put every other Disney movie before it to shame. It's too bad that those particular scenes were ahead of its time
To be honest, this is still my favourite disney movie of all time and one of my favourite movies in general. Even without those deleted scenes. But I agree with you, it could be even better if they kept some of these scenes.
@@AverageMoose that rarely ever happens with animated movies, but it has happened. beauty and the beast got a deleted scnene animated for the dvd release and so did the iron giant years later
Average Moose yes if you bought the dvd and downloaded the cut out scenes off of youtube and put it in final cut and edited the dvd yourself. you could do it for your own self but you couldn't sell it or anything obviously
I gotta say that I liked the 747 better. a airliner vs a alien space ship. but I understand why it was taken out since this movie was released around the time of 9/11. a hijacked airliner flying through a city would have given out the wrong idea. still, I'm glad I can enjoy the original clip.
But, to who? Who would it give out the wrong idea to? I'm gonna be honest here, I might be one of the few people who don't always assosiate a derailing plane in a large city with 9/11, probably because it's a very common thing in movies.
@@GoodMorningUSA1 its the time period. Lilo and stitch happened very near after 9/11 happened. There was no way people wouldnt connect the two together. Disney is a very good at keeping all types of people happy and in no way would risk their way to make maximum profits to keep a scene in that could be confused as insensitve.
@@GoodMorningUSA1 right. Since lilo and stitch was a day away from being complete and 9/11 occurred, the scene was changed up and the film delayed for a bit longer.
"If you lived here you'd understand." is such a good line, I wish they left that scene in. Let mainlanders know they can be obnoxious, maybe smuggle the thought into peoples brain to be more respectful when they visit.
They reworked it to the final version of Stitch going crazy due to camera flashes. The only thing they kept was thr people running away and Bubbles on the scene.
I kinda love the idea of them using a normal earth airplane for the climax battle. I’m guessing since it came out in 2002 planes with buildings was a sensitive topic which was why it was removed. Sucks to have a bunch of fully animated scenes scrapped because of something that happens irl like 9 months before the movie comes out.
I think that was just the animators or something recording for the storyboard. Sometimes they just have crew members record the lines for these reels before getting the final voice actors.
Hello Disney Fanatic, it is really nice too see you here. Just finished watching Bride of Discord for x time and I thought maybe now something from my childhood... I am heck of a lucky man. How are you doing
I honestly would of preferred seeing the jumbo jet mainly due to the fact that jumbas ship size was a bit inconsistent in the other movies I do understand why it was pulled.
I really liked the scenes with the aliens at the start. Would have made them feel more like characters and not plot devices. Also I had completely forgotten about the fish so when people in comments talked about the death of Pudge, I thought they meant the ice cream guy.
Agreed. Especially the "Show us just the tiniest bit of goodness" she is asking for him. That really explains how quickly she agrees to letting Stitch stay on earth.
Here’s a little story on why it was changed. When production of the movie began, Jumba was originally a bounty hunter that was sent to Earth to capture Stitch. But the filmmakers decided that they wanted Jumba to know a lot about Stitch and understand his character. Initially, Stitch was the leader of this intergalactic gang. So they changed Jumba to be a former member who was left behind in a bank heist and had been rotting in prison for several years. He (like in the movie) would then be offered freedom in exchange for Stitch’s capture. When they had test screenings for Disney executives, Roy Disney went up to the directors and said “I liked Stitch when I thought he was young. But when i found out he was some 35 year old gangster, i was disappointed.” They realized that the gang wasn’t working. So they removed the gang completely from the movie and decided to make Jumba the scientist that created Stitch as the reason for his imprisonment.
The bit when she asked if she called the rabbit store and said she was worth 20 rabbits honestly would’ve been way better than what was left in the movie
It’s fascinating recognising how they reworked storyboards and voice lines from the cut scenes into being in the final version of the film. One example from the cut 747 scene: -Stitch falling, bouncing, and ending up with the frog in front of the truck - reused in the scene where Stitch first lands on earth, and ends up at the pound.
In the 747 sequence version 2 I kinda like it a little more then the original but like most of us know it had to be removed because of the events of 9/11 like when stitch is hijacking the plane it makes it look like a threat of terrorism.
Wish they kept in the Bedtime Story and Pudge scenes. They give more personality and depth to the characters, and the bedtime one is really really cute! The Pudge one also shows us how much Lilo’s parents’ deaths have affected her (her choosing to bury Pudge at their graves and saying her mom gave them decorations as the flowers fell, showing how familiar she is with that area and how she still feels like her parents are with her and watching over her. Almost made me cry). And it definitely helped shape Stitch, realizing what Lilo’s words meant (“You never let family die! Ever!”) and realizing how bad his actions were, and showing remorse for it. Overall just a REALLY GOOD SCENE
Yes, the Pudge scene is dark. But I think that it would have still fit in the movie. Remember that the movie is about Stitch's character growth from being a jerk. So imagine seeing Stitch, who we see here watching Lilo in danger and Pudge dying right in front of him almost with glee to then later in the movie seeing him completely changed and now rising to the occasion to rescue Lilo when she gets taken by Gantu. The climax in a way mirrors this scene, and would make Lilo's words "you don't let your family die, you don't ever!" and "I needed you" resonate all the more. Not a complaint against the final movie though, I understand why it must have been taken out.
@@WindiChilliwack of course it makes sense just seems a bit extreme for kids and i was a kid when this came out. It would have ruined liking stitch for me.
Huh, feels a shame that Pudges death didn’t make final cut, powerful scene. Feels like it belonged in the final cut, being you never reely see pudge just that she feeds sandwiches to the fish. It seems like a proper build up and character building moment.
I’m so glad they didn’t include Pudge’s death. That for me would have absolutely ruined the film. That was awful. Part of the beauty of the first film was the lack of direct tragedy. The main form was the tale of Lilo’s parent’s deaths. That was touching enough to affect the audience, yet not dark enough to really negatively affect people.
i really liked it, its the circle of life and everyone has to let go at one point. I know this since i also lost my parents in a tragic way. so holding onto something will never help a person grow. I think it would’ve been an element that helped piece together why Lilo is the way she is.
I really wish they kept the Pudge the Fish scene ‘cause that would have added so much to Stitch’s character development but at least we can see these scenes on RU-vid.
I don’t understand that. It was the most unnatural character development I’ve ever seen. As she’s screaming and crying in total desperation he just watches smiling like a total psychopath. And then she just yells at him afterwards and suddenly he feels bad? That doesn’t make any sense. I don’t think I would have been able to connect with him after that scene at all.
Anna Taymond, I get the point but Stitch did not understand the concept of life and death. He didn’t realize that he was killing Pudge and upon seeing the graves of Lilo’s parents, he understands that eventually people die and never come back and he understood what he did wrong. I can get people disliking the scene though.
I like the 747 scene. It is a great scene. Theoretically speaking, can you imagine what would have happened to Disney if the movie included the 747 scene and was released a few weeks before 911? They would have been blamed for giving the terrorists the idea. Lilo and Stitch is my favorite Disney animated movie. The final edit is very good.. The orchestration is excellent and the voice acting is superb. The plot and sub plots are meaningful and entertaining. I love when Lilo prays to God for an angel and God delivers but this is not realized until Stitch goes through his personal arc. The story moves into another phase when Stitch prays to God saying "I'm Lost". To me, this gives the movie real meaning. It links Lilo and Stitch as two that need to be together. He says it once, after looking again at the book, then truly realizing his condition, he stands up looks up to heaven and says '"I'm Lost".
i live in hawaii and the tsunami alarm is the funniest thing ever. it actually happened today and theres a video of confused tourists 💀. locals should’ve acted like lilo, would’ve been so funny. 🤣🤣🤣🙌🏽
Happy 20th anniversary to Lilo and Stitch, and don’t forget to use toothpaste, a comb, and other stuff like that instead of a saw, an axe, and a dart to throw at doors.
TBH, i wish they should've kept the Pudge part. It couldve have an in-depth character development in Stitch's character. And also the OG Jumba vs Stitch, and the 1st 747 sequence. But i guess it makes sense because of 9/11. But they could've added the extra intresting character in there.
It was extremely unnatural, he was a total psychopath smiling at the suffocating fish being attacked by birds while Lilo was crying and screaming for his help, that he was amused by but when she just scolded him after sudden he felt bad? It doesn’t make any sense.
Daniel Crowley Well. I just looked at people's comments on Facebook book they said they seen kids saw violence and they turned out fine. They saw violence such as Tom and Jerry, Ren and Stimpy and Classic Superhero action packed tv shows. One of them said they grew up watching a horror movie plus there are other Disney movies that have blood such as Mulan and Bambi. Don't say I'm out of my mind. But I sorta believe they might actually be right I do easily influenced them. And the other websites. And I think the reason why everything in TV and Movies and everything outside the world is changed is because of 9/11. Sure this improved scene is more funny but not everyone is fond with it. Some just like it more strong, dark and emotional. What do you think? I'm just saying. Also the original version is more realistic than the edited version.
Honorable mention to the scene where Lilo hides in the dryer, which was removed from the British version, and subsequently from the Disney+ version. And oh my God, the tourist scene was amazing...
oh damn, i am so glad i stayed to see that bonus of my favourite car pulling off an insane maneuver from the deleted scenes of one of my favourite movies... jeeez thats a heck of a grand prize winning trivia scenario
The house fight is such an interesting study. They must've screened an early cut for test audiences, and feedback suggested the fight was too violent or scary for young children, so they went back and basically re-boarded the entire sequence. It's interesting to compare the two versions side-by-side, because almost every shot of Jumba was replaced, and in the final version of the scene, his design was tweaked slightly to make him smaller and less imposing. Only a couple shots from the original sneak through to the final cut, and those shots can almost feel out of place with the rest of the scene. What I find interesting about it is not only that they changed the scene, but that they really tried to make Jumba seem as not-scary as possible.
Here’s a little fun fact on why they changed this scene. The directors had said that they always intended the house to be a funny scene and they thought what they came up with was pretty funny. However, in one of the test screenings, nobody in the audience found the scene funny. They were actually concerned that Stitch was gonna get hurt. Which wasn’t their intentions. So they decided to go back and beef the scene up a bit by adding a lot more jokes and toning down the violence a bit
@@superjackster0165 my biggest gripe with the original scene was Stitch using Lilo as a shield in the beginning. Just felt wrong, especially at that point in the story
I can understand why they removed the scene with Pludge because it makes Stitch responsible for murdering someone that Lilo considered almost as a family member which would clearly become a problem for Stitch ´s redemption. Now, I think they could also have changed the scene by having the seagulls killing Pludge while Stitch is not responsible but still enjoying the moment.
Ok, I have just looked at the video. Good job for getting the entire second deleted scene (Gantu`s challenge) into the video, it`s much better than before. Now as for the 747 deleted scene (the second version), I think it would have been better if you`d have used the original version of the scene rather than my restored version. The RU-vid channel that has the full deleted scene of ‘Gantu`s challenge’ also has the original version of the second 747 deleted scene (and nearly every other scene). If you couldn`t find it, here`s a direct link to the video: ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-j-s47rHdHYg.html Also, when you showed my restored version of the scene, why did you cut out the scenes between when Stitch first lands on Gantu`s ship and when he finally rescues Lilo? That could be confusing to certain viewers and it would have worked better if you`d kept in the entire scene. You still did a good job by putting all these deleted scenes together, but might I recommend just re-doing the video one more time and have the actual version of the second 747 sequence in the video instead of my restored version? Because then you`ll have all the actual deleted scenes.
Ok, I can tell you why I did all the things that way. I put your restored version instead of the original because then I can show a little bit more so people will understand that scene a little bit better. I cut out the scenes between when Stitch first lands on Gantu`s ship and when he finally rescues Lilo because that part was 100% identical to the final movie and because it's risky to put such long unedited part of the movie in the video (it can be blocked due to copyright). So I tried my best to avoid copyright and to show as much as I can.
I wasn't knowing that there is some hidden stuff behind Lilo & Stitch The Series. Can you tell me what this video was about ? Maybe with my editing skills we can do something with it. About my video. Well, as you can see, my old channel got deleted due to copyright. So now I need every single view that I can get. This video with deleted scenes is alredy gone a little bit viral so I just "can't afford" to delet it. However, I can do another video with your restored versions. But there are 2 problems. 1 - those videos have many long parts from the final version of the movie, so I can have some problems with copyright. 2 - it's a little bit unfair to take YOUR videos and then just reupload the compilation of them to my channel, maybe it will be more fair if you will do it ? What do you think ?
Well that video of mine was comparing the events of the episode 'Phantasmo' (the episode where Stitch got framed for pranks and destruction by the ghost experiment) with the episode 'Night of the Living Dummy II' (where an evil Dummy came to life and framed a girl for similar pranks) from the 'Goosebumps' TV series. Due to the similarities of those episodes I felt I had to show them in that video (the video was about 28 minutes long). But after it got blocked everywhere within 4 years I felt I had to remove it to avoid any more strikes. I don`t really feel like bringing it back, not only because of the block, but because it also never really performed well with viewers (only getting over 320 views in 4 years). I suppose I could edit it down a little but I don`t really think it`s worth the risk. Oh, I`m sorry to hear your old account got removed. You know I once planned to upload a whole video with all these deleted scenes, but I eventually decided against it in case of copyright issues. Well, as I said to you in my last message, if you want to keep this video as it is, that is fine with me, you don`t half to re-do it. Also, you don`t half to do that other video I mentioned either, it was just an idea. To be honest I don`t think I ought to put the restored videos in one video either, I think it`s best to just leave them separate, just in case of copyright issues.
Yeah, the best way to do it is just leave everything as it is. Also, if you have any other ideas about Lilo & Stitch, feel free to suggest them. Because I'm always looking for an idea for a new video, so any idea can one become a new video !
