eh....i doubt he ever tried to do much in life. Hes not a burnout cus then youd actually fear/avoid work all together. Hes a lazy genious. He COULD cure cancer if he wanted but he simply doesnt care enough to try. A lot of smart people fall into these two tropes: 1. The over achiever 2. the lazy 3. the burnout.

​@@johnynoway9127the lazy is the burnout, they tried something, but had no motivation to continue because they found no enjoyment in it. Their own mind tries to find a logic in what they're doing. Think shikimaru, he's lazy because he has no motive until later in Naruto. This experiment was lazy because he had no motive. There's a good reason to make a sandwich, you make sandwiches and you can eat them later.

Reuben was super strong and intelligent but just…learned that everyone else sorta stopped asking stuff of him if he didn’t bother. Like “if I do anything more Gantu will start expecting things.”

@@dr.altoclef9255 I am aware that he's extremely intelligent. He and Stitch had the same abilities, with the main difference being Ruben has a better language input. It's just that, most likely due to his intelligence, he realized pretty quickly that he could just put his effort into whatever *he* wanted to, and not necessarily what *other people* wanted him to do. And, like you said, he figured out that doing the bare minimum if he did anything other than what he wanted to do would lead to low expectations from others.

You have it backwards. Stitch is experiment 626, Ruben is 627. Ruben was made after. The reason Jumba made Ruben is actually because stitch was made to be the ultimate evil, but lacked superior intelligence, which jumba believed that to be what led stitch to join with Lilo. Dumb=easily swayed according to Jumba. So he created Ruben, and expected Ruben to have a sinister overplotting mind. In the end, Jumba got opposite results from both experiments. He ended up with an overly aggressive “puppy” (according to Lilo) and a way too chill stoner who just loves to make sandwiches and has no desire to fulfill Jumba’s evil plans.

In the show, he makes a sarcastic quip about if he's too useful, Gantu will expect more from him. Lol. In Leroy and Stitch, he needed to be convinced he actually had super strength so, unfortunately he wasn't secretly gaslighting everyone. Bro really thought his super power was JUST making a mean PB&J.

Ruben has only ever solved problems when it got in the way of him having a peaceful day. His plans are almost flawless and he can easily match Stitch. He just doesn’t want to

@infiniteoctopaw I don't know, in the show he also at least mentions he has an idea of what he can do during a tussle with Stitch(though we never see him do more than take hits) when he takes an offscreen hit from Stitch and then remarks "Yeah? I can do that!"

@@absolutezerochill2700 He's not stronger than Stitch ( they have the same powers) throught he might be a little smarter since is more fluent that's it. Basicaly he was jumba first atempt to make stitch but was discarded due to him being both cowardly and uninterested in evil. So Jumba then made stitch after correcting the behavorial issues.

Did you not watch Leroy and Stitch? He can do literally everything Stitch can do. But he's just also lazy and didn't know he could do all that stuff. Also in the show say if he's too useful Gantu will start expecting him to do things. The gaslighting potential
